Dr Correnti did my neck surgery (ACDF) I was very apprehensive about the surgery, but he came highly recommended. He was very thorough and explaining everything to me prior to surgery and after the fact, I couldn't be happier with my experience. My neck is pain-free! It has almost been a year since my spinal surgery. I posted my first review on Dr. Correnti on 12/18/24. Due to what I believe were his surgical errors I am partially paralyzed in my right arm. My EMG confirms that I have No Motor Units in my right bicep and triceps most likely caused by a nerve being nicked, bruised or stretched during the surgery. Recently , I developed an golf ball size lump on my spine C6 due to a screw becoming dislodged due to surgeon error and I will need a complex surgery to cure my deformity caused by Correnti. For legal purposes I taped my last two visits with Correnti on 5/9/25 and 6/2/25 to catch him in outright lies about the surgical errors he committed. What transpired during these conversations in my eyes is the ranting of a deluded psychopath(very manipulative and lacks empathy) as you can judge for yourself with the comments he made that I transcribed word for word. JUDGE FOR YOURSELF, if you now feel he is suited to be a surgeon. 5/9/25--Bad outcome from surgery, I'm not happy, I'm a man I can take it I didn't nick nerve. I don't use that word. The nerve probably got stretched or irritated. I reviewed all of your messages." There's no pressure on your spinal cord, you no longer have pressure.- Screw head could be coming out -PER CT Scan says significant lucency. 6/2/25--Correnti speaking--ADMITS THAT I NEED ADDITIONAL SURGEERY 9.45--so that your biggest problem is that you can't keep your head up so that my recommendation is that you have surgery to take off the rods put new screws in 1 and 2 and fuse this down to 1 and 2 so that we pull you up and hold you up. 10.35- I wouldn't do it, I recommend you go to another Doctor. I think you and I are done from a surgical point of view because I don't think you trust me. 11.20-extend fusion to T1-2, -there is no problem with 6 screws- WHEN I ASKED IF I COULD GET A 2nd OPINION INSIDE OF HIS GROUP 13.25-Its burnt with me and since we're one group, it's burnt with the group FOR ALL OF YOU THAT ARE IN CONSTANT PAIN AND ARE SUFFERING--Please consider all of your options for surgery--In my quest to find the best surgeon I have been referred to Dr. Dale Segal in Ft. Myers and Dr. Ahilan Sivaganesan in Naples. I can't perform any tasks with my right arm from feeding myself, wiping, showering, shaving, laundry, cleaning, cooking, driving safely with only my left arm. Now with screws loose I can no longer turn my neck, lift my head up, walk for more than 20 to 30 yards without severe pain in my neck and extreme fatigue.What scares me the most is that I'm only getting older and as each day goes by I'm getting weaker and everything has become a major task to perform especially since I raise my 6 year old grandson 4-5 days a week. I was in much pain for over a year after seeing many doctors i finally meet Dr Correnti. Could not believe the quick decisions and surgery. Although I posted not such a glaring review of Dr Correnti yesterday, I have to tell you my opinion, and feelings are 100% different today. He called me back on his cell phone , apologized profusely for his behavior yesterday he was having a very bad day (family issue) and said he was sorry because he was totally unprofessional. I excepted totally, we talked about my back issues over the phone, said I was more then welcomed in his office if I wanted to discuss further. If I could give more than 5 stars I would!. The entire office experience was exceptional from check in to check out. Dr. Correnti cares about his patient's. I had 3 fractures of my thoracic spine which he performed a Kyphoplasty, he is a top notch neurosurgeon, listens to you and directs you in the best treatment plan for your condition.
