Well I live in the DC Metro area and needless to say car prices are high and most dealers have "added" charges that can raise the price of the car as much as a thousand dollars or more. I discovered a 300 at Frey Dodge in Lewistown Pa! 160 miles away. Amid the Covid 19 crisis I began corresponding with Roberta (Bobby) at the dealership via email. She was very responsive and accommodating, since I had "many" questions about the car along with request for photo's trying to make sure I wasn't wasting my time traveling 160 miles. The dealership was able to make me feel confident that the car was worth the trip and purchase and even negotiated on the price. So, 160 miles later, I met Bobby, who was professional, polite and friendly. I purchased the car and was done with the transaction in 30 mins. As I was walking out of the door the owner came out and thanked me for the purchase and trusting them with such a long drive. Never thought I would drive so far to purchase a car, but, I will look to Frey Motors again even if it is 160 miles away. Great Place to purchase a car.

I've also never had a car I've taken to him boomerang, which has happened at several other local mechanics. That's when you take your car to get something fixed, they say it's fixed, you get it back and realized it isn't fixed and have to take it back. Taking your vehicle here ensures it will be done right the first time for a reasonable price, they will not waste your time or money.

BUYER BEWARE I bought a 2006 Chevy Trailblazer YESTERDAY (3/1/19), I owned it less than 24 hours…read more Walked out my door this morning (3/2/19) to see puddles underneath my "new to me" vehicle. They claim they put every vehicle on a lift to check them out. But if that were true, they would have seen that the transmission lines are rotted out, the power steering line leaking and the power steering cooler is rotted! They claimed "nice, clean vehicle" on the sign! When asked if there were any issues, he made us aware that the back wiper does not work and it will need new tires soon but that was it! And fed us the line "I wouldn't sell junk, it's my name on that sign and my reputation on the line"! I should have known better considering all his vehicles are being sold as is, but he *seemed* trustworthy! Please don't buy from them, don't make the same mistake I did! *Update* Later 3/2/19 - I posted this same review on my Facebook page and the secretary/notary/owners daughter replied to my status, very defensively, saying I was being "so immature" for "internet bashing", said they never claimed it being a clean vehicle in they ad, even posting a screenshot of the Facebook ad, although I didn't say the ad, it said it on the sign (the one hanging on the rearview mirror).. She said we test drove the vehicle and my boyfriend looked under it, which is true. The vehicle drove good and my boyfriend did get on the ground next to the vehicle and looked underneath, but the Trailblazer sits so low to the ground, there was no way of seeing the rot where it is located! But the owner claimed he had it on a lift after it got it from the auction in January and everything was clean underneath and we believed him, but it had to have been a lie! Either he never looked or he did and it wasn't clean as he claimed! They will say anything to sell a vehicle! Updated 3/3/19 - After some research and scrolling of their Facebook page, I found another lie we were told. We were told our vehicle was bought at auction in January, but they were posting our vehicle (matched by the VIN#) for sale on Facebook at least since August of 2018!! Unfortunately for me, there is nothing I can do, since I bought an as is vehicle and signed a paper saying so, but please please learn from my mistake and do not buy from them!

Part under warranty needed replaced and they said they couldn't get the part that I found at a location car part store and wouldn't fix with that part under warrant but instead would charge for labor. Since they quoted several months to get the part, they agreed to purchase the car for a set price so we could move on with our lives, and then said because of the problem they already knew, they backed out of the deal once we asked them to sign. Bad staff, bad service, and bad experience.
