By the point we got to Kingman, we were hungry, needed restrooms, and needed gas. The Love's Travel Shop we saw along the way was in fact in the perfect location, and it was an easy decision to stop there. The location is open 24/7 with the Truck Care area open from 6 AM to 11 PM daily. The Subway is 24/7 and the Chester's is open daily from 10 AM to 10 PM. This location offers private showers, free Wi-Fi, an ATM, Transflo, truck parking, RV dump service, bulk DEF, RFID pump start, tire services, light mechanical assistance, commercial truck oil change, International warranty, Freightliner Expresspoint, bulk propane, propane tank exchange, dog park, laundry facility, RV friendly parking, RV motorhome mechanical, RV motorhome tires, roadside assistance, additives available, calling cards, CARB clean truck check, check cashing, copy and fax service, DEF retail, overnight parking, permit fax, TripPak Express, and Love's Rewards Program. I don't even know what half of these are! During our visit, we filled up on gas that was less expensive than many other stations between Phoenix and Las Vegas. We easily found the restrooms inside which were surprisingly quite clean. There was a line for the women's bathroom but no line for the men's. And we picked up a few snacks before we left. Though we didn't partake in the restaurant offerings, in addition to Subway and Chester's, they also sell tacos, sandwiches, salads, wraps, subs, parfaits, and chicken drumsticks as select specialty food. I've been a customer at this gas station for years, but after this evening, I won't be coming back…read more I stopped in to grab a coffee for my teenager as a treat for a road trip we were leaving on the next morning. When I asked the woman at the counter where to find the coffee, instead of offering assistance, she immediately told me to "zip up my purse." There's a sign on the door about backpacks, but this was my personal purse--not a backpack--and I was standing at the counter asking for help, not loitering or acting suspicious. I'm a well-presented, educated woman with a decent job, and it was both insulting and condescending to be spoken to in that way. The assumption made about me was completely out of line, and her dismissive attitude when I was simply seeking help was unacceptable. When I finally found the coffee with help from another employee, the same woman started questioning my teenager about if the coffee was for her and what she needed it for. The coffee was for a road trip the next morning--not that it was any of her business. I expect better from a business I've supported for years. I won't be returning, and I hope management takes action to ensure customers are treated with the respect they deserve, without judgment or assumptions.

Kingman is a stopping point for us. One last stop before Vegas, or conversely, the first stop after LEAVING Las Vegas. Clean, quick in and out... Perfect! Open 24 hours (of course), the staff always seems friendly, prices are competitive to other convenience stores, and the drink selection... Wow! Fountain drinks I've never heard of, including the exclusive Mountain Dew Goji Berry flavor! Heck, they even have Pepsi Zero Sugar (formerly Pepsi Max) in the fountain! All with giant 52 ounce cups with big, fat red straws. Everyone will love the clean, roomy restrooms. I sometimes wonder if Maverik has someone hiding in the corner to clean after each person leaves. It's ALWAYS sparkling clean! Every time we pass through Kingman, especially heading back to Vegas, we make it a point of stopping here, and will continue to do so.

The station is clean, bright, well run, with a great variety of snacks. The bathrooms were clean and well kept. If you're needing to make a stop, head out to Route 66 and visit this Shell. When truck landed at another shop we were told and shown engine was not only not cleaned very well at all but multiple bolts from this alleged repair were still loose. So not only was truck not fixed, not only were we charged 5k for not repairing the issue but the repairs they did so weren't even right!
