By the point we got to Kingman, we were hungry, needed restrooms, and needed gas. The Love's Travel Shop we saw along the way was in fact in the perfect location, and it was an easy decision to stop there. The location is open 24/7 with the Truck Care area open from 6 AM to 11 PM daily. The Subway is 24/7 and the Chester's is open daily from 10 AM to 10 PM. This location offers private showers, free Wi-Fi, an ATM, Transflo, truck parking, RV dump service, bulk DEF, RFID pump start, tire services, light mechanical assistance, commercial truck oil change, International warranty, Freightliner Expresspoint, bulk propane, propane tank exchange, dog park, laundry facility, RV friendly parking, RV motorhome mechanical, RV motorhome tires, roadside assistance, additives available, calling cards, CARB clean truck check, check cashing, copy and fax service, DEF retail, overnight parking, permit fax, TripPak Express, and Love's Rewards Program. This is one of the first spots you come to when you arrive from the Vegas side, and they certainly know that. They know you may not know there are much better and much cheaper alternatives ahead, so they're going to charge you for it. As others have stated, they may advertise a similar price on the sign as other stations, but if you go to the upgraded fuel grades, they can charge $1 or more to go upgraded and you'll end up regretting it. If you're going out on 40 towards Phoenix, you can avoid the entire trap by just getting onto the 40 and then exiting in Kingman proper. We saw loads of reasonably priced gas stations there. Plus there are much larger travel centers, and this is a very small and not well-maintained c-store. I only had to refill half a tank so I wasn't as shocked as I could have been, but I wish I would have just kept driving. You should keep on driving.
