A very long 10 days…read more The hostel owner and her husband were very nice and sweet people; she spoke multiple languages and was always helpful to foreigners. The hostel itself was immaculately clean, if a little uncomfortable (the bed springs squeak with every movement). Actually the beds were just uncomfortable, with thin mattresses and thin blankets. The bathroom/toilet was clean but very basic and no-frills. The WiFi was free but the signal was too weak to work in the rooms, so you could only use it in the kitchen or the common area. Then again it's a hostel, so you can't expect too much. It was very clean and very centrally located (A+ on location) 2 minutes away from the Central Station. The only problem is that it is on the 4th floor (5th floor for Americans), and the elevator only sporadically works- by request with advance notice, during business hours, and only for heavy luggage. As it happened, it wasn't available the evening I arrived with 85 lbs of luggage. There are 120 steps, I counted them all as I hefted my suitcases upstairs.

Great hostel! Special for big groups. We were 26 and I have to say not of the most quiet groups of…read morepeople. They attended us perfectly and we spent 4 great days there. The room and bathrooms were very clean. There was also a kitchen which anyone could use, and they made free coffee in the morning!! I will probably repeat if I ever come back to Bremen.
