The beef goulash was served in a basic tomato sauce, but there were only few pieces of beef (1 star off). The pork chop was hearty with all that cheese piled on top. I liked how they offered several salad options too, as I was missing having a big salad after traveling in Germany and Austria. Lastly, my favorite item here was actually their "Cremeschnitte" (cream sandwiched between phyllo dough); the cream was absolutely divine. The portions were large already, but I wished I had ordered two of those cakes. It was that good!

We got incredibly lucky because the restaurant really filled up and by the time we left, there was a long line down the block. Of course we had to have their Original Wiener Schnitzel, which was so crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. We also had a Salzburger Nockerl, which is a classic Austrian soufflé dessert that is considered a culinary symbol of Salzburg. You do have to order this about 20 minutes in advance, so we ordered it when we made our entree orders. This was really good and honestly, more than enough for our group of 4. After having been on the road for several weeks already and not always eating the best food throughout the day, I decided to treat myself to a vegetable-forward dinner. A quick internet research led me to this place and I made a reservation for one. I wasn't disappointed at all. In fact, this was the best meals I've had in a long time.
