Crunchy top, smooth base, loads of fresh vanilla. Service was superior. They brought out our meal at the right pace for us. They described our dishes and were very attentive. Parking is tricky-- you will have to walk from a parking lot to get there. A couple call outs on the differences from America to Germany: 1. Speed- they do not come to you quickly after getting menus nor after being clearly done with your meal. You need to flag them down. They have a much longer "hang out" time at restaurants and they don't want to rush you out. 2. Charges/tips- water is not free, you will pay for it and it isn't a glass, it's a small bottle they bring to the table. Also, they aren't a tipping culture. Generally people just round up to the nearest 5. Example: bill is $9 and you give a $10.
