They serve dinner around 8pm onwards so & lunch menu is from 3pm. You'll need to make reservations for dinner as it gets very busy. During lunch they have full bar available, small lunch menu and a DJ playing schlager music the entire time. Even on a Monday afternoon, the DJ was blasting those tunes loud and enthusiastically trying to get the crowd singing. Which usually occurs after afew drinks anyway. The menu is traditional Austrian, so get right into it because it is delicious and homemade style. For lunch we ordered currywurst, bbq spare ribs with garlic bread and ham crust. The dinner vibe was a little less disco Germanic music and more relaxed but buoyant and busy. I think we over ordered but ah well. We had crunchy winter salad, double boiled beef broth with fried cheese dumplings, classic bacon & onions flame tarte (ham crust), pork belly with sauerkraut and roasted potatoes and crispy skin boneless chicken leg with spinach "spätzle" and mushrooms. Honestly no bad dish, everything was top notch only problem was the food was so filling it was difficult to consume it all. Luckily we took our time and managed somewhat. The ambience of this restaurant is cool, Austrian, joyful and drinking. Definitely try some of the local Austrian beers. We enjoyed this place alot and definitely will return upon next visit. Recommended.

Will definitely be back on a return trip. It's a pricier dinner for the area but in my opinion, well worth it. I had the venison and everyone at the table agreed that they wished they had ordered it.

All dishes that I tasted were non-pretentious, perfectly seasoned and warmed both my body and my soul. The atmosphere is rustic and intimate and the service is good. That said, my rating is based on the taste of their food and detailed review follows. Beef Tartare - it was an appetizer special and although I am a big fan of that particular dish, I have to say that this was the only dish that I had that night, that didn't do it for me. Instead of being hand cut (the way I like it), the meat was ground (which is a typical way beef tartare is prepared in Austria), so I will skip providing my rating for this dish. Top Blade Steak braised in red wine, served with polenta, fennel and roasted onions. 5 stars all the way! Melt in your mouth tender, beefy, juicy and combined with creamy polenta it was a star of the evening. Wiener Schnitzel made with pork meat. 4 stars. A solid version of Wiener Schnitzel and although it tasted very good, you can find a lot better versions of this dish in Sankt Anton. Austrian Ravioli stuffed with Porcini Mushrooms and cheese - 4.5 stars. Cooked to a nice al-dente and covered in warm brown butter. The stuffing was savory and thick and you could taste the porcini inside. Although a little more expensive than other restaurants in town, I recommend this restaurant for a nice romantic dinner in St. Anton.

Ambiance (5 stars): It has a very homey feeling to it. Especially with the rules that you share tables if you do not have a big enough party and no reservations. Food (4 stars): - Mixed meat (4.5 stars): would recommend. - Salads (3.5 stars): We got the mozzarella salad and a large mixed salad, both were good but came with too much sauce/creamy. - Goulash Soup: (4 stars) comes with bread, it was very hearty. - Traditional roasted pork, tyrolean bread dumplings with bacon sauerkraut, gravy. (4 stars) It was tasty, but nothing outstanding. - Apple Strudel with custard sauce: (4 stars). It was pretty tasty, but a pretty small portion, nothing outstanding. - Ice cream (5 stars): With the umbrella very good. For 4 of us the bill came to 106 euros. Service: (4 stars) The waiter at the start was trying not to speak english, but after a while he warmed up to us, and was friendly. A few interesting things about the restaurant: - you share tables, most of the tables seat about 10 people. - They do not do reservations, first come first serves - 30Euros minimum if you use visa I would come here again.
