We were so impressed we returned for our second night and were disappointed we didn't have time to go more often! It's family-run with all home-made food. They sell Augustiner beer, which is our favourite German beer. Excellent value for money.

The quality of the ingredients is wonderful, and the cooking is based on real craftmanship. A real Chef is in the kitchen here. We chose fish for all courses. Fresh local fish from the Bodenlake. The sauces are a story on its own and is a pleasure to the pallet. The rooms may be very traditional German, and somewhat old, but the service and food makes one totally forget this.
