Then this morning he dropped by to check I received the message and to see whether Origin had contacted me about the leak. I want to comment this driver for his above and beyond attention to a customer's (my) safety. Very grateful. Caroline Fisher

Meaning no water for showering, washing clothes, cooking.. called at 7:30am that morning to ask to deliver a gas bottle. Waited around all day for delivery driver to come. Wasnt until 7pm realising there was no different gas bottle that there was one just sitting out the front and not connected. No one knocked or even left a note to say they would be back or to explain why it wasnt connected. Phoned up and the lady on the phone was very rude and unhelpful, speaking over the top when we were trying to explain no one knocked or phoned to let us know why it wasnt connected. Very horrible service and defentily would not recommend for anyone who wants a fast, reliable service

A time when door to door sales ruled and were acceptable as the norm. From what equates to $50 in todays money his idea and hard earned investment had grown to over 200 stores across Au and NZ spanning 70 years and kept in the same family before being sold off to another company six years ago. Not a bad innings or investment or sales transaction. They sell all types of vacuum cleaners, steam mops, accessories and provide service and repairs. Several makes of vacuum cleaners are stocked such as Hoover, Miele, Electrolux and others, plus one in particular was being firmly pushed when I was on my quest to find a good vacuum - as my trusty 25 year old Volta finally died - on Wertheim. You may like it or lump it, some have been lumbered with it but you decide and it's all in the sales pitch my friends. Needless to say I didn't end up purchasing through Godfreys as my personal experience was the sales people were pushing what they wanted to sell and not what I needed to buy.

I recently did some spring cleaning and wanted to wash a queen size mink blanket that is too big to…read morewash well in my own machine at home. So with the all or nothing approach I decided to venture to a local laundromat with not only the blanket but also all my curtains. I liked this one and would go there again when the need arises. It's off the road in a small block of shops with parking right out the front. I walked in and it was clean and tidy. I put on 3 machines with curtains and one with the blanket. Then walked next door to get a drink from the deli while I waited. Best part was being able to use a few machines at once (they have double and even triple load machines so fit more in each load as well) so I did the equivalent of I think 10 loads in the time it takes to do one. Dryers are huge and worked really well. Big tip thought before you go - take LOTS of coins!!!! I took heaps and still had to ask the nice man in the deli next door for some extra.

Who doesn't love an efficient, clean robot? Single load machines (all mah single loads, get your hands up) is 4 bucks, which seems reasonable. Double load machine and triple load machine are 5 and 7 dollars. The driers are 1 dollar per 7.5 minutes. Not too shabby either. Prices seem competitive enough. On busy days parking can be an issue, otherwise this place is as easy as it gets!
