I have had both of my kids transfer here and they have excelled accordingly. This kids from this school are also great kids. The teacher and administrators here care and have the best interest of these kids at heart. This school is older and could use some updates. Other then this I think this is a great school. I have one more child and will have him here when the time comes also. The teachers here they seem as if they want to come to school everyday and that is always great. I have seen athrletic well educated kids come from this school.

The City of Killeen, Texas is basically a parasite on the outskirts of Ft. Hood, a large Army Base. It was my base of operations from the age of 15 -17. I am a full-fledged military brat. Killeen High School was 80+% Army Brats at the time. I was one of them. I graduated from KHS at 17 and left central Texas for good. Killeen is a centrally located small town that, when you are ready to leave, it takes a full day of driving to get out of Texas - no matter what direction you go! A good school to be FROM. Good memories! Lots of good stories to tell! I was a Fighting KANGAROO! Not many folks can say that! (Not sure many would have the guts to put it in writing!) GO ROOS! I love the time I spent there. Even still have my high school ring!

my children are currently attending this high school and I'm a single parent on active duty…read more Hopefully this school is upto par with following policies, procedures, rules and regulations. I don't play with my children's education or well being period. But a lot of students here have a lot of touching others problems. Bullying, putting hands on other students ( unwanted uninvited touching and Sexual assault apparently isn't taken seriously either. I have called the school and asked to principal but they were busy all day all week their schedules was too full to speak to a parent of a child who is being touched by another student ! So now I'm taking it up higher. To the superintendent ! Your welcome.
