I contacted 3 different individuals for bids on adding a skylight in the bathroom and a light tunnel. I found Tim's response to my questions the most reasonable and in sync with what the roofers were telling me(I was replacing the wood shingle roof) at the same time. Tim had the skills to coordinate with the roofers who did not always show up when they said they would. He did a very good job on the bathroom skylight. The framing for it was extensive. The side benefit,as Tim said is that my roof is stronger as well. I found Tim to be very trustable,reliable and straight forward. His honesty is impressive. Case and point: Tim asked me if one of my vases had always had a chip on it and I told him yes. He was concerned that one day(Saturday) he had brought his teenage son with him and the kid might have damaged it. Tim could have just kept quite. I found his son to be polite and well behaved. Tim is not a licensed contractor however he has over 30 years in this type of work. My next project may be re-doing the kitchen cabinets or the concrete patio and I will be contacting Tim for these jobs. read more

Tim has done several jobs for me over the years. Most recently he installed my new dishwasher. So happy to have my old one replaced! Hate to had wash dishes. Tim was on it for me. I texted him and we arranged for him to come to my house 2 days later. It took him 1 trip to Home Depot and about 2 hours. About 18 months ago he helped me to make sure my hot water heater was bolted/ strapped to the wall properly as my home was going through escrow. I originally contacted Tim when I was having trouble with my front door locking. I was getting ready to leave town and was desperate for someone to fix it so that my home was secure. Tim made the time and did a temporary fix. His price was very reasonable for the time he spent. We knew we would need a permanent fix and Tim seemed to know what he was talking about. He had told us what he thought it would cost on the first visit. Tim came out on a Saturday, at the time he said he would be here and was friendly and worked hard. He even played along well with my daughters slumber party friends yelling "hi doorman!". The front door works great now. There was no mess left for me to clean up. The work was done in less time than originally estimated and cost a fair amount less. I will be hiring Tim to put an attic fan in next and also for any future projects I have.
