Yup, Gator Tobacco is cool. I stop there on my way to Boca Fiesta for a scratcher to scratch at the table. I almost always win here. Sometimes enough to pay for my full bottle mimosa, or at least get my money back. Go get your scratchers there, this place is hot. And, it is fun. And, the guy behind the counter is funny. And, it's just cool. read more

I brought a vape and the guy swear up and down that it works I take it home charged it and it still won't turn on I took it back and he said I can't exchange it I'm like it's still new it's defective will never go back here again read more

This place is small but has a surprisingly big selection of beer. They have anything from your usual frat beers to Guinness and Chimay. I think they also have wine and if memory serves me right they don't have hard liquor. (I'm not sure though.) Their prices are pretty decent for a small place... I usually come here when I want to get something quick and don't want feel like driving. I live in downtown, so this place is pretty convenient (it's in the Sun Center). They also have hookah and various tobacco products. read more

We came from out of town due to a doctor's appointment at shands hospital. Upon arriving at Gainesville I realized I only had one cigarette and needed to buy some. I walked to the nearest store, which happened to be this one. First off, a pack of Marlboro menthol lights was $7. That is more than I have paid since I was in Massachusetts. There is no city or state tax, so that price in itself was a little high. Then when I pulled out my debit card the man behind the counter charged me another 33 cents for using a debit card. It was posted nowhere that they charge a convenience fee for debit or credit cards, so I'm pretty sure this is illegal and will be reporting them to whoever I need to. $7.33 for a pack of cigarettes when I'm still in Florida?! You are a rip off sir and I will never return to your store and will advise everyone I know here to not go to your store. read more

I have been looking for a good tobacco shop in Gainesville for a while. For a small shop this place has a great selection of pipe tobacco and cigars at a fair price. The clerk is always friendly as well. read more

Let me start off by saying that regardless what business you are in whether you were selling…read morecannabis or glassware or crack on the sidewalk customer service is a number one goal, or should be, of every successful business and this one lacks it so badly that the stereotype of the people that work here would be an upgrade. I very rarely like never give a one star on a business but when it comes to a business repeatedly disappointing me, scamming me, ripping me off, and me foolishly giving many, many opportunities to redeem themselves after false promises due to the staff being so stoned and miserable bare minimum doers that can't Complete basic tasks like use a register, have any knowledge about the products they sell, or even the time to pay attention and greet every potential buyer when one enters their establishment because they're goofing off, hiding in the back office, or decide to greet the younger person who enters after you. This place is run by a bunch of dingbats who will sell you the wrong thing just to shut you up when you're trying to figure out what you do need to buy. If it all possible go anywhere else from here because another thing they do is depending who you are or who you were speaking to within one visit you'll be told different prices and offer different discounts even though the deal of the day is clearly published but they don't give it to everybody. I am absolutely done. Definitely go elsewhere where not every single person that works here seems to be a manager that knows nothing and the business itself doesn't even have an email address; "be lazy & do the less than minimum" is the mission statement of this business.

Anyway, I got a flat and could not change the tire. I went to three auto parts places and bought the size (thin-walled socket) that would fit in there. None of them worked!! A friend suggested Repurpose/Reuse spot. I went in there, and explained it to the attendant. He found a box of mismatched sockets, and I bought two of them FOR A DOLLAR EACH!! It worked!! I was so happy!! Next time I am coming here first!! I also want to go back and check out their tools and other stuff that I did not have time to look at!

When we first moved to Ocala, we were staying at The Drury hotel nearby because we work from home and did not have internet yet. Since we are totally new to the area, we figured Celebration Pointe would be a good place to explore. As a Yelper, I always research a place prior to going and that was the same for here. We also enjoy some nightlife and this place looked like it suited our needs. We actually visited here twice during our stay at Drury. The first night we visited, we were only looking to grab some drinks. We tried one place but it appeared unorganized and too busy so we went to the piano bar. There was a cozy sitting area in the middle of the walkway outside and decided to grab some seats and enjoy our drinks. I was dumbfounded because there have not been many places I have visited that had a lot of seating and significant ambiance. There was a gorgeous and fancy firepit that could seat about 10 people around it so that is where we sat. I love to people watch (maybe that's the NY in me) and this is a great place to do that. Our second visit here, we did walk around more to visually see some of the businesses. We actually came earlier than the previous time so we could actually go into the store because they were open. I was upset we already ate dinner because the steakhouse looked really good. I shopped in one of the stores but did not find anything I desperately wanted. I was craving ice cream so we stopped in Kilwins and ordered a milkshake. All of our favorite seats were taken so we decided to grab drinks again at the piano bar and sit there. We have been reminiscing about Celebration Pointe since we visited and plan to return when we have more time.

While walking around, I noticed there are a lot of empty retail spaces so hopefully they will get some good tenants to make the space a lot more diverse to shop and eat.
