Literally one of my favorite places in Rome. Sitting conspicuously in front of one of the Vittorio Emmanuel entrances, it can be easy to mistake it as a tourist trap. However, their ceasar salad is so good. It is the best item on the menu, and it is especially worth it for the portion. Their coffees and pastries were pretty delicious as well... even though it's a bit on the pricier side. What makes this place very special was their exceptional service (compared to other Italian restaurants) and for being a great study spot. My friends and I would study hours here with their provided wifi. They also have outlets for you to charge your device. I highly recommend coming here for students who need a place outside their homes to study but also wanted to eat. It reminded me of the times I would study in cafes back in the States. Just make sure to let the workers know beforehand you were going to stay for a while!

AMAZING Service was great. Cute little bakery with an outside patio where we decided to sit and enjoy the beautiful May weather! Had a double Espresso, Chocolate Croissant, Pistaccio Croisant and an olive pastry. Chocolate Croissant - 10/10 Pistaccio Croissant - 10/10 Olive Pastry - 7/10 I think it wouldve been alot better with more cheese but it was still good! Overall Food & Vibe 9.5/10

This coffee / bakery shop is very cute. The service is excellent. Their hot chocolate was the richest of rich lol it was purely chocolate lmao but delicious I had a brownie as well and everything was yummy. They have other warm Bread/ pastries did not try but looked very yummy. They have indoor seating just keep in mind everything is more pricey if you sit inside as opposed to if you would've order it to go that just how it is in Rome. The price seemed reasonable. The shop is next to the metro and this strip is pretty lively at night people come out and have cocktails And smoke a cigarette.

Tiramisu! We ate the vegetable lasagna way to fast to photograph!

This Cafè is a hidden gem! We walked right by it the first night we were in Rome, but not the second. They had a live band and people were dancing along. It was a beautiful and fun sight! We joined in on the fun with a pair of Aperol spritz! Our drinks arrived quickly and were made well. The interior of Gatsby is a historic and modern beauty. The pairing of the historic relics and the golden decor make it a beautiful and super trendy spot. We loved our night at Gatsby!

Found this place while Trying to figure out which direction the train station was again. Glad I was a bit lost. Coffee was good but the croissant was immensely good. Something bout croissants in Europe being highly superior than anything in America. Maybe secret ingredients holy water from the Pope lol.

Can't say enough about this little café right near the metro station. Limited selection of pastry, but each of the flavors we tried were very good. Very affordable and amazing cappuccinos. Surprised that they didn't charge a coperto fee even when we opted for "al tavolo (server brings food outside) instead of "al banco". Four pastries and a cappuccino only runs about €5. Loved the pistachio filled croissant especially.

This is an awesome cafe with 3 different floors to sit on, a bathroom upstairs, plenty of places to take photos, and a yummy cafe latte!

Plain croissant. €1. Has bits of sugar on top. Nice light breakfast!

Gatsby Cafe is a quaint little shop in a plaza. It's easy to miss as you're walking down the sidewalk, but it's definitely a gem we're glad to have discovered near our Airbnb. The food is great -- plain croissants with sugar on top are €1 -- but the service is also wonderful. The guys behind the counter are very nice and they all wear cute little hats. We stopped by three days in a row while in Rome for breakfast. I would order my croissant, and my two friends loved the pistachio cream croissants. Recommended!

My girlfriend and I stayed in the neighborhood during our recent visit. We were out exploring our first night and walked by Gatsby. They had live jazz and it was happening. We didn't go in because we were exhausted but saw they had coffee and breakfast. So we came back the next morning... We walked in to a fairly empty café, I assume everyone was at work already which was nice for us. We had plenty of seating to choose from and could plan our day in peace and quiet. The first visit, we had croissants and cappuccinos. The croissants were SO good. They were whole wheat with fruit jam inside then lightly sprinkled with coarse sugar. AMAZING. Everything cost us under €5! Well worth it. We loved it so much, we came back again the next morning. I couldn't get myself to try anything else because I loved the croissant so much. My girl ended up getting the croissant with pistachio crème. We both agreed that while hers was good, it didn'tcompete with mine! This time around, we had espresso. It was strong and good. We also had fresh squeezed juice. Not sure what it actually was, but tasted like an orange and grapefruit combination. DELICIOUS. Really everything we have had here is amazing! The service is great. They were very nice and just really wonderful to us. Prices are so reasonable. We would totally come back again if we could! A favorite of ours.

Very different and very interesting cafe! Beautiful decoration taking you to a different era! The bagels that we had weren't something special but its worth the visit! There also seating area on the first and second floor! Vintage furniture and friendly staff! Good job!

Cappuccino, salmon bagel , chocolate waffles. Amazing atmosphere, delicious food, great place for friends, family or a quick coffee/bite to eat.

Coffee was so cheap and delicious! If you order self-service at the bar, you only pay for to-go. Inside was so cute, and service was nice. Really enjoyed there while I stayed in Rome.

What a cool and chic cocktail bar!…read more My husband and I visited Peaky Blinders kind of by mistake. We were on our way to Jerry Thomas Speakeasy and turned into the wrong street and saw their bright red door. We didn't stop here at first and went on our way to Jerry Thomas. Like always, JT was packed and they said they probably wouldn't have any openings until 1am (it was 9pm). We decided to go back and check out that cute little bar with the bright red door and were quickly welcomed by the owner and staff. This bar is inspired by the show Peaky Blinders and they have a lot of decor that goes in connection to the show. At the time of ordering our drinks, they told us that they didn't have a lot of the ingredients for most of the cocktails in the menu because they couldn't find fresh ingredients in the market and they are very particular as to what they serve to their customers. The owner quickly asked us what we were in the mood for and that he would prepare something unique just for us. I asked him for something fresh, but not too sweet with gin or vodka. He delivered exactly what I asked him and it was the most delicious drinks ever! I was honestly inspired by how passionate he was about the produce he was using in his cocktails, and how much love and dedication he had for serving the best of the best.

My cousins and I have been here 2 nights in a row, going on 3! You walk down a slightly unsettling…read moreroad into an unexpectedly comfortable and welcoming bar... then you never want to leave. We had an old fashioned, a Daiquiri, and an English Rose (sweet, complex) on the first day, all of which were perfect. I spent 2 or more hours sitting and talking at a comfortable volume, listening to chill music. Lorenzo was our bartender for most of our trip (but we also just met Igino, who is also a great bartender!!), and every drink he made us was exactly what we wanted. On our second day, we had the Manhattan, Lorenzo's version of the English Rose, and a Moscow Mule. Then a new drink with cranberry and almond, another Lorenzo English Rose (because my cousin tasted it and loved it), and another Old Fashioned. Igino also made us some amazing drinks based on what we liked about our other drinks, and made us feel so welcome. Not only are the bartenders, drinks, music, and atmosphere amazing here, but the people who come here and chat with you are also super chill and friendly. You can tell that people who come to this bar are familiar with this place and love it as much as we already do. As cool as some of the bars in this city are, this one is one you can feel at home in. Definitely stop by, because you won't regret it, and you'll probably find yourself coming back as many days as you're here.
