This theater had such a cute rustic charm to it. The seats were a little sunken in and not to…read morecomfortable, but decent enough to sit through a 2 hour film. The snack stand outside had a lot of variety of snacks. We watched the Batman movie "Joker" on Halloween, and was very surprised to see how many people dressed up as Joker on Champs-Élysées after the movie was finished. Overall it was a good experience, and a nice place to relax after a long day of being a tourist.

It is a wonderfully different experience to see a movie in English with French subtitles. My bigger beef is with the "pass illimite" which is the unlimited monthly pass which they sell for the ridiculously cheap price of 20 euros. I think they want to make it particularly difficult for non-residents to get the pass, as you have to have a French bank account in order to get the monthly pass. Boo.

We refused and insisted that they dig the ticket stump out of the pile that says we already paid for the glasses (this is where it's helpful to be fluent in French). They refused and we had to argue with them for 10 mins before they finally just gave us the glasses. When we went into the theater several other families were complaining about the same scam. Be warned, not an honest business. To add insult to injury, the power just went out in the entire theater. what a joke
