On a quest to find my mother a nice accent chair so she could relax comfortably my sister and I found several furniture stores on the west side of the SFV. We come across GDFStudio Outlet. This place is more of a warehouse that has many various styles of furniture. For the most case and what I have seen the day that I visited were a lot of one offs, but did see some sets. I did speak with a representative there and was told inventory comes and goes. Prices seemed to be reasonable but I am pretty sure that fluctuates with the different types of stock that arrives. This place is pretty big with a lot of selections for indoor and outdoor. I think it's great to place to find a good accent chairs, tables or pieces but not a great place to find larger patio sets. I really love a good outlet store and this is a GOOD outlet store..... you know the kind where you find something that you can't help Bragg about how much you paid for it? I was particularly looking for outdoor furniture and GDFS did not disappoint. I bought 2 chairs and 2 bar stools. I would have bought more items but you have to be able to take whatever you buy. I bought the beige set less than a year ago and now, one of the chairs' gold trim is fading off. The armrest section of one of the chairs is showing discoloration to the point where you can see the silver/metal color.  I reached out to Support, and the only answer I got was, "we can't assist with this request as it is not under warranty". Not even a "how can we make this better, or giving the option to buy that section only". I was not looking to replace both chairs nor return them. I was even willing to buy the gold section if it was offered or sold to replace the defective chair. The discoloration is only happening to one of the chairs. We only use them as decorative side sitting, not everyday sitting, so clearly defective. read more

We ordered outdoor bar stools which were described for outdoor use on the website. When we opened the package there was a note inside that the bar stools would rust when outdoors in the rain and may cause rust stainings. We therefore wanted to return but the company was first not responsive and now wants us to pay for shipping more than 60 USD! Very misleading company and unfriendly and awful customer service. I bought a fire pit 14 months ago for a second home. It was used less than 20 times and the knob doesn't work anymore. It should last more than one summer. The only reason I don't rate this business 1 star is because the staff was very friendly and helpful when I was looking for a chair. The reason I rate this establishment so low is because of the quality of the furniture they sell. Their website states they specialize in high quality pieces but that is not the case. When I was shopping, I found a chair I really liked but was a bit wobbly at the legs. An associate told me it probably just required some screw tightening and offered a discount on the chair. I bought it an attempted to stabilize by tightening the screws. It did nothing. After 3 days of use, the chair is even more unstable. It's even begun to crack! They have a no return/ no refund policy. Now I'm stuck with a broken $100 chair. I'm going to Lowe's to see if i can buy some surface mount corner brackets to stabilize. Outdoor metal floral benches have been breaking but they will not sell me new legs for them. Scrollwork is way too thin on top of outside to hold 2 small normal people. Couple people got cut falling on sharp leg edges. I guess we are to throw out 5 benches at $200 each. It's not like I expected for free. Lame excuse that computer can't identify legs to charge. The reviews at the time had me alittle skeptical but everything went smooth. The only "issue" I had was with the shipping company, NHHF or NH Furnishing (the website was different than the company name that was given). Although GDF notified me of the shipment, the shipping company (small business presumably) did not. About 3 days after the initial "ordered has shipped" email was sent, the tracking was never updated and all of the sudden I received a call saying the delivery man was outside. Luckily I was home at the time but I could have very well not been as I did not anticipate the delivery. Anyway the furniture arrived in one piece and we are very happy. I would order from this company again but hopefully the shipping process is improved next time. read more

We purchased a patio set from Target from the manufacturer GDF Studio. The day after we put the furniture together, it rained and I couldn't get outside to grab the cushions because of baby issues inside the house. When the rain let up, I went outside and saw the cushions had some pretty good water spots and dirt. After attempting to scrub off the damage with Dawn soap and a scrubbie to no avail, I unzipped the covers from the cushions and washed them. Bad call. When they came out of the wash, they wouldn't fit dollhouse furniture. I called Target and they diverted me to GDF Studio customer service. I literally told them my problem and they shipped out new cushions within 2 HOURS of me contacting them. I received the new cushions today and I am super pleased with this company. My 5 star rating is based on their customer service and actual patio furniture frame. The cushions/covers are not very high quality and I will have to remove them every evening before going inside. I got a great deal on the furniture, however, and have no qualms about the purchase. Will buy from this company again. read more

I bought a total of six stools from these guys through houzz.com. Three months later, the faux leather started coming off bubbling up on the two stools so I contacted houzz.com but they basically told me that the stools come with one month warranty and urged me to contact the seller directly. So I tried calling GDF Studio a few times but they wouldn't pick up. I ended up leaving them a detailed voicemail a couple of weeks ago but they have yet to return my call. They don't seem too eager to stand behind their products. EDIT as of 6/18/2018: Customer service reached out to me and they sent me two new stools in order to address the situation. We bought a 4-chair bistro set from Target online, but 2 of the chairs had defective feet (most likely from packaging/shipping). When we contacted Target, they were very pleasant, but wanted us to ship back the chairs first before sending replacements. We contacted Noble House Home, the company which actually supplied the set. We received an immediate response from Genesis, the Customer Service Rep, who found our purchase record, checked the warehouse, determined that they had replacements, and then sent us a tracking number for the replacement chairs. I found this place in October 2017 because I was nearby and they had a few signs out on the street. You have to go around to the "loading" area at the back of the building to find them, and they are only open on weekends, but I've found AMAZING deals there. We went 4 times between October and Thanksgiving. I've bought 6 dining chairs, two stools, an entry table, and two luxurious throw blankets.
