One of my biggest concerns leading up to our wedding was that our entertainment wouldn't match our "vibe" and we would walk away not having as much fun as we'd like. Nope! WE HAD A BLAST! Gabriel put his heart and soul into getting to know my husband and I, the kind of music we liked, the kind of "party" we wanted, and what our guests would want too. Gabriel introduced us to the custom planning app which was SO nice and easy to plan dances (1st dance, father/daughter, etc), must-play song choices, fun games, big moments (cake cutting, bouquet toss, etc), and so much more. Communication was never an issue. It took so much stress away from the reception part of the wedding planning. A lot of the music we wanted was Latin-themed and throwback 2000s hip hop. The music he chose for us, the professional DJ set up (the white facade looked amazing), the fun dance party lights, and the sound quality for our cocktail hour and reception were fabulous - Gabriel had everybody up, dancing, and having a blast! One of the things we wanted our guests to remember about our wedding was the entertainment and and all the fun going on the dance floor. When visualizing our daughter Dariana's celebration, my husband and I were concerned about how to keep her central to things while ensuring all our guests enjoyed the party, too. In our first conversation with Gabriel, we realized he knew exactly how to achieve this! Over the course of several planning calls, Gabriel got to know Dariana's tastes and those of our family and friends. He then suggested more activities, a sequence of events, and additional songs to further enhance things. Gabriel's amazing planning tool also simplified organization for us significantly. I can't say enough good things about these guys! They really saved the day! We found ourselves without a DJ 10 days before our event (crazy story - we weren't alone), so for them to come to our rescue last minute like they did and knock it out of the park - it's nothing short of a miracle! I want to start off by saying that Gabriel was singlehandedly the most impactful person I worked with throughout my entire wedding planning process, and having a DJ provide that level of value completely defied my expectations. But, GDG Elevated Events provides much more than your typical DJ services. Not only does Gabriel have such an encouraging and personable attitude, but he utilizes a custom planning app that went way beyond planning the soundtrack for the day. I was able to really conceptualize the flow of my wedding and determine what schedule felt most authentic to me and my husband's vision, while also deciding what song(s) I wanted to play during each moment! When my wife and I decided we were tired of not being married and threw together a wedding, we honestly were so nervous that everything would go wrong. Gabriel really set our minds at ease, walking us through parts of the wedding we had not even thought of! This review is a long time coming, but I just wanted to thank GDG Elevated Events for creating such an amazing atmosphere for my sister's wedding this past spring. My husband and I were reflecting after the fact that our one regret for our own wedding 16 years ago was that we didn't invest in a good DJ. Because when you do, they are able to set the tone for the whole reception. And let me tell, the tone that was set by GDG WAS SO, SO MUCH FUN! There were sweet moments and funny moments, but mostly just lots of people being prompted to have a blast the whole night. We didn't want it to end. My family admittedly is a bit awkward and can be tough to get out of their shell, but I've never seen so many smiling and laughing faces out there on the dance floor. Gabriel is a fantastic MC/DJ. He was the MC at my sisters wedding. He was extremely professional, well prepared, collected and most of all ready to keep the party going. The ceremony went off without a hitch, Gabriel helped to keep everything coordinated and was on point with the transitions throughout. Once the reception began, he had great methods for keeping the energy flowing and the audience roaring. There weren't any awkward low points.
