I asked the info librarians who sit at a station in the middle of the room about it. You don't have to bring any puzzles, or like me, I brought seven puzzles and took seven home. There are puzzles for all ages, tho mostly adult type puzzles. Kids puzzle are welcomed. I enjoyed looking at all of them and chatting with a few people doing the same.

The online selection of eBooks for my Kindle is outstanding and the books I request online are always ready for pick-up when requested. Physically, the facility is great. Nice lush greenery sits outside the vintagey looking building and the inside has clean, organized stacks and local art. Like most of Chagrin Falls, its just a cute place. However that top floor is not really enclosed so sometimes you can hear children squealing even when you are on the first floor. There's a mid sized computer area, all with cubicles pointing in one direction, like a classroom kind of. There's a digital media section as well as a teenager section. There are No specific quiet study areas. There are not that many places to sit and study, there is a shortage of power outlets. I came in one day at opening time and for quite awhile the two employees at the circulation desk were discussing their evening at full volume so I could hear them from the other side of the floor. Also, the bathrooms are in a pretty inconvenient location, which matters for me to stay there all day. The good: it's still reasonably quiet usually. The clientele here is nice, I don't have creeps staring at me. The parking is pretty good. Overall, it's still one of my choice places to study when visiting my mom- but it is not premium for the purpose of quiet study.

Everyone who works here is extremely helpful whether it's locating a book within the library or putting a hold/request on an item they are great and always do it with a smile. And when you desire the convenience of having a book with you all the time, they have many titles available for digital download via their website which are loaned to you for 3 weeks. This fact has helped local supporters note that the NE Ohio/Greater Cleveland area has one of the largest and most comprehensive public library systems in the nation. (Now if only the County could get every denizen to really educate himself -- and create some sort of brain bubble in the region. Just a wish.) This is a review of the Beachwood city branch, a small yet nicely remodeled facility. There are great nonfiction and children's sections; however, the fiction selection is a bit lacking. The Saul Eisen Reading Garden offers a tranquil, secluded reading space. For research projects, one might be better served at the Mayfield and South Euclid city branches (the latter is set in an exquisite old local castle-esque building). All of the branches -- east and west -- afford the opportunity to find a quiet place to get lost in a great piece of literature and/or media. Grade: A

I can't vouch for the selection of books or the services they offer, but as a quiet study environment, this place is great! There are plenty of plugs for your computer (yay!) at each work station, so you don't have to bring an extension cord or awkwardly drape anything over your neighbor just for a hookup. My only beef was that the quiet cubbies were along the perimeter of the main room, which meant that it did get a little louder as the day went on. In any case, it beats the 'bucks, and helped me get my morning off to a productive start!

I dropped by this afternoon to pick up and return books (so very convenient to pre-order and pickup). The library has two floors. The first floor has checkout desks and some book collections. Notable parts of the first floor are Meeting Rooms, printers, Large Print Books, and passport services (the latter super convenient). The second floor has additional book collections, reference desk, some meeting rooms, computer lab, and book shop. The book shop has cool sales every months with $5 fill the bag specials. Collections at the library are very versatile, you can find all kinds of books. The library hosts a lot of events that are accessible for booking on the library's website. The library also has onsite herb garden, which is pretty amazing. It's a wonderful space for the community. Parking is located in the back of the library with ample amount of space available. At the front there's a connecting pedestrian bridge to another parking lot. I highly recommend a visit, it's a very serene location!
