I had been told by an accountant at this firm 3 months earlier that I did not need to file taxes on this trust based on income. At this visit I was told I DID, so now we're delinquent based on their advice! I talked with them for a total of 25 minutes...and they told me that because the trust was written out of state, they could not help with my specific questions and I need to go to someone in that state. So I did plan to bring back the additional information and have them file the trust taxes. Then I get a bill for $175.00 for a 25 minute visit. Most of which was that they could not answer my questions. What happened to earning someone's business????? Obviously there would be charges to file my taxes..but $175.00 to talk?! Never again...they've lost ALL of our families business.
