However, less than two minutes after walking in, the man says "we're closed now, you have to go." It was very uncomfortable and a bit sad for my daughter. I set the books down and we left. Granted, the man may have had plans. Maybe he was pressed for time? Or, he was just not very nice. are better ways to handle this situation. What is it about business owners that think they are doing customers a favor by being in business. If you're a comic book fan in Chicago's Northwest suburbs, I recommend you find another shop.

It's really a gamers paradise and you can find here rare comic books, vintage games and toys that will delight both children and adults. It's physically connected to the northwest end of the Golf Mill mall, but there really is no mall traffic anymore as the mall has been shuttered for years at that end of the mall. Their parking lot is adequate and spacious but like most Targets, watch out for all the sometimes crazy pedestrian traffic by their entrance.

Making room in my house is a good enough reason to take my used books to Half Price Books. Getting money for my used books is icing on the cake.

The book trade in process here is fairly easy and they are able to appraise books quite fast, though the values aren't super high -- though on the flipside they pretty much take any books for trade in. The shelves and displays are well maintained, and you can find lots of interesting and unusual books here. This is also a good place to look for some lightly used board games and refresh yourself on new editions or different variations of these games that might be as obvious when shopping elsewhere. The checkout process is fairly quick and friendly as well and there's plenty of parking right outside the store. Just be careful of the traffic pattern in the shopping center, particularly around the Asian grocery store as people tend to drive a bit fast within the lot.
