More upsetting was that I found out later that my policy was cancelled due to nonpayment. They were sending the notices to the address under construction, not to the place where I was actually living. Moreover, they had my phone number and email and never reached out to see why I did not respond to the mail invoices. I don't know why the mail wasn't forwarded to me, but there is no excuse for this agency not using alternate means to reach me, when we had previously corresponded by phone and email, so it was all in their files. I have been a State Farm customer, though out of state till recently, for more than twenty years. And yet no one at this agency took the time to pick up the phone or email me. If there had been a fire, I would have had no coverage. Terrible, terrible customer service. I mean, no customer service here at all, just people going through the motions. Avoid at all costs!
