As it is a narrow business with limited seating, it will be hit or miss if you get an inside table as most of the sales that were happening while I was there was takeout. Just something to keep in mind if you're looking for sit down dining. Overall, I rarely have had ice cream this good and if you are a fan of well-made ice cream then this is a business you should definitely check out if you are in the Gothic quarter.

The bread tasted fresh and not too flaky and with the cold gelato in the center it was a good combo. The bathroom was oddly constructed. We also had ice cream here - soo delicious! One of the staff told us that the 2 most popular flavors were the almond flavor and the llet merengada flavor. The latter is some kind of milk-based ice cream (it translates to "milk meringue"). They put cinnamon on it. I don't know what exactly is in the ice cream but it was so. amazing. Staff was great - patient and willing to explain the flavors to non-locals. It's a little chaotic there especially in the evening, but they've got a really organized system (you take one of those number tabs like at the DMV, and they call out your number when it's your turn). It was so good we had to come back again another day. Good thing we don't live in Barcelona or we'd be here all the time!
