Add to that the cost of a thin wafer and one small macaron neither of which should cost all that much. Yet they were charging €18 for one. To us it was kind of a ripoff, but we had to give it a try anyway they look so cute. Total bill €36. Ouch!

Part of a small neighborhood with true Italian city feel. The ladies speak very little English- as is true for most of the shops around the Piazza Vescovio in this part of Rome. The fruit flavored gelato were very refreshing for a nice summer evening.
