Since all of their cone portion sizes appeared small compared to the U.S. we assumed that our sundaes would also be small. I was surprised to see that they were massive. I'd actually have one as a pet if I could. After a while, we went inside and ordered ice cream. All in, it cost about £10 for a mug of coffee, a pot of tea and 2 bowls of ice cream (3 scoops in each and a flake). I scoffed mine, and it was good. Smurf ended up playing with hers for a bit then left it to go and play with the other kids in the play area at the back of the shop. The cafe area wasn't overly busy at 11 am but it looked like a mothers group or bunch of friends had chosen it as a meeting place, kids were happy with ice cream and toys, mums were happy with coffee. Service was good, prices were decent and I really enjoyed my visit. I will definitely not be leaving it over 20 years for my next visit.

This one in Cockermouth is an ice cream parlour and coffee shop.
