The flavors are innovative without being weird and the texture is perfect. You can even tour the lab next door where they make the flavors, though it was closed when we went that night. I had the croccante amarena, which had swirls and tasty sour cherries throughout. I also tried the 500x - an intense chocolate that appears to be tinted with charcoal - and pistachio. I loved those, though not as much as the one I had. I'll be dreaming about this place!

This place is simply amazing. We were on a tour of Capri and our tour guide highly recommended this…read moregelato shop away from the hustle and bustle of downtown Capri. We were told that this shop was the original that created the famous limoncello that Capri is known for today, and the flavors of their limoncello were unreal! Fresh juices, perfectly balanced with sugar and finely crushed ice made for a true refreshing drink. We also tried some of their sorbets, and selected the Lemon and Watermelon from their vast selection. Again, the quality here is unmatched by anywhere else we've tried in our lives. We were pleasantly surprised by this unassuming roadside stand off the beaten path. The workers here are hard-working and friendly. They spoke some English, which made it easier for us to order. If we ever visit Capri again, we'll for sure come back here!
