In our most recent visit there, we only found one item. When we took it up to purchase, the cashier told us that they would soon start charging people for using their credit cards. This was really disappointing. We will probably stop shopping there now that I know this. Who carries around a bunch of cash around in this day and age? This new policy of penalizing people for the convenience of using a credit card seems like a sure fire way of deterring and alienating customers. Also, my husband who is good with finances likes to use credit cards to be able to budget and keep track of our purchases, so he's not enthusiastic about returning.
