I've been a loyal customer of Gemini for a number of years and to be honest, they have generally been good, prompt, reliable etc. Last time I used them for a trip to London in the summer, a taxi arrived with no air conditioning (the summer of 2018 being the hottest on record, this mattered a lot!). When I called the office to complain I was blamed for not specifically requesting air conditioning and the lady actually said I could have taken the train!! If I'm ever ordering a taxi, I use Gemini. Every time I use this company I am impressed. As a student I'm used to being ripped off or belittled but Gemini drivers are always professional, fair and friendly. The phone calls are quick and simple with the operator always chirpy and helpful no matter what time I ring up (sometimes 4am - I couldn't be that happy working at 4am!). Often the journeys I take are with many people so require many stops, but unlike other taxi firms the drivers never seem annoyed and know the area so well that it doesn't present a problem. If I'm travelling alone I still feel safe, which as a young female is rare. What most impressed me, however, is that when we hired a few of their taxis to take us to the station for a night out, the driver insisted very politely that we all put our seatbelts on before he moved off. If I have a choice of taxi firm I always use Gemini taxis in the local area and for trips up to London from Staines/Egham. I've tried lots of others in the past, but found Gemini to be the best. You do have to pay a little extra compared to some other firms, but I think it's worth it. The cars Gemini use are clean and tidy, the drivers are polite (they come to the door to fetch you rather than just sitting in the road and honking the horn). In addition they know where you're going and confirm this with you when you get in the car - this is something that annoys me with other firms, you tell them when you phone up to book where you're going but then the driver arrives and has no idea! It's not great from a security point of view when firms do this, but Gemini doesn't. They've always been very reliable when I've used them and have turned up where and when they're booked for - again unlike some other firms I've used. So if these things are important to you (as they are to me) then I can recommend Gemini. read more

Seriously great service, very quick and quite a bit more reasonable fares than any other we used while in England. I have to give a great shout out to John, the very charming driver who not only gave us tips for traveling like a pro, but also managed to save our day when I forgot my cane. Rather than having to go back and retrieve it, he produced one that had been left behind and saved us at least half an hour and £15, slowing us to catch the earlier train in the bargain. PS: he reminded me a little of the graphic novel character, Spider Jerusalem, which was a huge bonus. read more

I have used Gemini cars for a number of years and always found them very reasonable courteous and professional.however after booking a taxi on bank holiday Monday and being quoted the fare by the operator and also confirmed by the driver he even told which route he would take... yet he still went a different way and added an additional £10 on the fare ....I'm very disappointed as this was already priced as a fare and half.. And if this is the kind of desperate employees they use, I will seriously consider using a different company from now on . I felt ripped off read more
