Extremely dissatisfied I received dental treatment at Gemini Dental Clinic in Doral, Florida, and unfortunately, two of the dental pieces they placed have already fallen out. I do not feel safe or comfortable returning to this clinic due to the poor quality of work and lack of professional standards. I paid $5,400 for treatment that did not meet reasonable expectations and caused me inconvenience, emotional distress, and a complete loss of trust in the clinic. I have also filed a formal complaint with the Better Business Bureau (BBB) and may pursue further action with the Florida Board of Dentistry if this issue is not resolved. I cannot recommend this clinic and caution potential patients to carefully consider their services. read more

I'm not one to leave reviews, and I never enjoy going to the dentist. So here are my impressions. Excellent. The entire staff at this clinic is professional and friendly. Incredible experience, starting with Flor at the front desk. The pure definition of proffessionalism. She helped me with my insurance, plan my appointments according to my schedule, and helped me formulate a strategy for my future appointments. As soon as I sat in the chair, Sabrina took my X-rays, and Immediately she made me feel assured, very calm, and comfortable. She delivers a great introduction and prelude to the kind of treatment you will get on "the chair". Dr. Jorge showed me everything we were going to correct in a clear and easy-to-understand way. Maria Paula has been the most comfortable cleaning I have ever had. She was patient and informative, and she truly has a gift for the way she cleans your teeth, her high level of care and gentleness truly effortlessly flows through her hands. You can feel the difference afterward and feel reset, refreshed, and brand new. Finally, Dr. Katia. I'm assured that all the doctors are good, I believe it, but I can tell you that she is incredible. She performed two procedures on two different days, and you can truly feel the high level of skill and competence she possesses in her hands. I highly recommend this dentist. I had a cleaning and I replaced two dental resins. The service is extraordinarily amazing. The Venezuelan lady who does the cleaning is super sweet, very gentile and she does an amazing job. I was very amazed about the great advance technology they have. There was a TV in front of my chair and the dentist show me in live video the problem that I had. He took the time to explain me what he is going to do. He even asked me which teeth I preferred to begin with. At the same time that the dentist was doing his job with a very sweet assistant, I was watching relaxing videos on the TV. The cleaning was smooth, deep and they didn't splash my face or my clothes. The dentist and the assistant both have gold hands. They enjoy what they do and they don't work in a rush. Today was my second visit to Gemini Dental and it was again an outstanding experience. My hygienist, Carol, is incredible! Let me give you some examples: She lubricates lips so that they do not feel dry or stretched during procedures. Her injection technique is the best I've had and very close to painless. When she used the ultrasonic scaler for my teeth cleaning, she was thorough yet compassionate with respect to the areas where I suffer from tooth sensitivity. Carol's demeanor is delightful and her professionalism great. I highly recommend this practice and hope you have as good an experience as I have enjoyed. read more

The team of individuals at this office really treat you right, Gabby is very friendly at the front desk. Flor is quick at taking the X-rays. Lisette who cleans my teeth, is extra thorough at making sure all the plaque is removed--my teeth look and feel great! She also showed me how to floss and brush. Jorge, the Dentist, was friendly with small talk and great at telling, and showing, me the condition of my teeth--he used a tiny video camera and TV screen to highlight certain areas. He made recommendations on how to take care of them. A pleasant experience all around! read more

They might be OK for minor fillings or repairs. I had a complication after a wisdom tooth removal due to improper application of anesthesia and wrong medication. I strongly suggest you go to a specialist such as an Oral Surgeon for tooth removals or more complicated conditions. Esta clínica es OK para reparaciones menores. So far so good. The office is very clean, convenient and state of the art as it pertains to technology incorporated into the practice. Maria, at the front desk, was very helpful with scheduling visits, arranging payment and filing for insurance. Gabriela did an excellent job with X-rays and teeth cleaning.... Jorge the dentist is very kind, professional and recommended the maintenance and replacement of two old fillings. He ensured I was comfortable and worked meticulously to properly replace them. I've had two rather unpleasant experiences at this office, both dealing with one of the hygienists, Gabriella. We recently moved to the Miami area from the Houston area. I was two months overdue for a cleaning and check-up by the time I got myself situated. The visit with the doctor was fine, albeit a little impersonal. But I have never had more painful cleanings than the ones Gabriella has done on me. I take good care of my teeth, and have been told at every dental practice I've ever visited in both TX and PA that my teeth are exceptional. No, they are not perfect, but definitely not bad or even fair. I assumed my first visit was unpleasant bc I was late for a cleaning. I was told to come back 4 months later for an additional cleaning. I did today, and it was just as torturous. That plus the fact that she scolded me the entire time I was there will be why I will not return. She even went so far as to tell me I needed cleanings every three months! And no, this is not a money thing ... we can certainly afford $100 every few months, but I don't believe she's doing me any favors by tearing into my gums to prove a point. I will not return nor will I recommend this practice for that reason alone. The only reason I am awarding any stars is because the facility is clean and most of the other staff are pleasant. read more
