5-STARS!!! DEFINITELY RECOMMEND!!!!…read more What an amazing experience I had at the Falls Church office! Everyone was so kind, helpful, professional and knowledgeable. The office is clean, modern and comfortable. It even has a small coffee bar while you are waiting. This was my first visit to this practice. Check-in was a breeze and they took me back quickly. Thank you to Alex for your help, knowledge and information regarding my insurance. You were very thorough. I felt so comfortable and confident after speaking with you about it over the phone. You also gave perfect instructions on your location and where to park. You were very welcoming when I arrived. Thank you for the smooth and friendly check-in! Madi took me back for my appointment. She was so kind, courteous and efficient with the preliminary questions. Dr. Rostami was amazing. He was thorough, informative and kind. He had a friendly and warm "bedside manner." I felt very comfortable speaking with him and hearing his assessment. He was also very gentle during the examination. When patients are in pain, it is nice to have someone who understands that and helps you feel as comfortable as possible. Thank you so much for your help! Christina was there to take my paperwork at check-out. She was super friendly and sweet. Thank you everyone for such an amazing experience! Having any kind of dental/oral appointment can be daunting and scary for people. This office makes you feel like family. I am so grateful I found them. I will definitely be back.

Everyone was nice (from the front office to everyone behind the scenes). My surgeon and his assistant put me at ease even though such a minor situation. I got there early, and they were able to bring me back within ten minutes of me getting there. Definitely would go to this practice/office again.

I dread all things dentist-related, so much so that I've been putting off getting my wisdoms…read moreextracted for 15 years. They weren't causing problems, but they sure weren't helping, either. My dentist referred me to Dr Corcoran to have them removed, so I called and made an appointment for consultation. I was able to get in the same week, and the receptionist patiently explained all the location and time options I had. I was nervous about my consultation. I had never had any kind of surgery in my life, and I didn't know how much damage my wisdoms were in for. Dr Corcoran came in, and assuming he's met many nervous patients, he immediately calmed my nerves with a few awesome dentist jokes. He showed me the X-ray, explained everything that would be done, and I left feeling great about it. I got on board, and scheduled the real appointment for a couple weeks later. Fast forward to today; I had all four wisdom teeth removed, 1 of which was impacted, the rest simple extractions. I got the works with the laughing gas and the general anesthesia, and when I woke up an hour later, huzzah...no wisdom teeth. Surprisingly, I am in no pain despite having taken only 2 Advil right after the surgery. The numbness has gone away, and I have some swelling on the impacted side, but no pain. Huh. Dr Corcoran even called me at 9pm to see how I was doing. He noted that I sounded awfully chipper, and expressed that I should continue to take care of my wounds, even with no pain. How incredibly thoughtful of the guy to call me long after the workday is over, to make sure I wasn't dying or allergic to the antibiotics. My husband said that right after surgery I told him, "Gosh I feel great, I wish I felt this way all the time!" I think that means Dr Corcoran is doing something exactly right.

The reason for the 1 star is due to their billing department. Went in approximately 4 weeks prior…read moreto the actual wisdom teeth removal surgery for the consultation. After the confrontation, we went over the billing to my insurance and the lady said this is all the doctor will do and this is what your insurance will pay. Stupid of me to believe a person is able to do their job but she explicitly left out big charges such as removal of a tooth, consultation charges and other miscellaneous charges. My interesting is that it cannot be this colossal of a mistake and she purposely did this to show me lower charge. After completing the surgery they bill me and guess what, they added major items, like removal of the tooth they were supposed to get out along other items. On top of that, i called the billing department and the lady lied to my face saying this was all billed to the insurance during the consultation and she will send me the proof. What she sent me is proving they did not send the full charges to the insurance. There's a bunch of good doctors out there and this one is not worth it just because of their incompetent billing department in the arlington office.

Late last year I had a terrible cavity in one of my wisdom teeth. The dentist looked at the x-ray…read moreand immediately declared it unsalvageable and beyond his skill to extract. I needed a dental surgeon and a talented one at that. My dentist did what he could to alleviate the pain, drilling out the cavity, but I knew this would end up being an ordeal. Apparently, once you get over 40, wisdom teeth tend to affix themselves to your jawbone and the nerves become a complex bird nest. Simply pulling them out is impossible and they require surgery. After searching online, I landed on Pashapour Oral and Facial surgery. However, I was a bit concerned as the reviews vary wildly. I selected them over the alternatives, and I was incredibly pleased with the results. Dr. Pashapour is a surgeon with skills. I can happily state that he got all four of my wisdom teeth out in a single sitting. I have zero nerve damage, and I healed incredibly quickly. After seeing my x-ray and the cat scan, both performed in his office the day of the surgery, he told me the only way we could successfully get these out was under general anesthesia. It made me nervous to do so, especially considering this was not to be done in a hospital, but in his office. Still, I took his advice, and it was the way to go. I have zero memory of the 2-hours I was under, and it seemed to be an instant from my perspective. Dr. Pashapour had to pull some of my blood while I was under to aid in the filling of the gaps that would be left behind, which he explained to me beforehand. He even performed another cat scan afterwards to ensure zero nerve damage took place during the surgery. Despite all my anxiety, between Dr. Pashapour and his nursing staff, they put me at ease and got me through it. I am now two months post-surgery and it's as if I never had a problem. I made the correct decision, and I would highly recommend this service to anyone, whether they are wishing to front-run a problem like mine, or if they are already in complete agony with an irreparable tooth keeping them awake, night after night, and popping Advil just to get a modicum of relief. I do see some small things they could have done to improve the experience. The front office was able to get me in quickly, which was amazing. This did wonders to reduce my anxiety and limit the duration of my pain. What they could have done better is set my expectations more accurately once I was in the waiting room. My appointment was for 9am but I waited well over an hour because Dr. Pashapour was busy at the hospital due to an emergency, tending to someone with far bigger problems than I had. The front desk should have told me he would be delayed, he's performing an emergency surgery at a hospital, and it's possible I could be in for well over an hour's wait. I understand emergencies, setting that expectation would have led to a better experience. Timing at Pashapour isn't amazing, but the work he does is worth the wait. The second issue I had was with billing. I have superior insurance, and they were opting to not use all my resources. The bill was $3000 and my insurance could cover up to $1500. They intended to leave some money on the table and charge me a bit more out of pocket. Honestly, I don't remember much of this, my fiancée was there to ask questions, and I was nervously waiting for surgery while in pain and not focused on the exact dollar amount. Let me be clear, the price, in my opinion, for a 2-hour surgery, with all the bells and whistles, including 2 cat scans, an x-ray, bloodwork, anesthesia, the expert hands of Dr. Pashapour and the kind assistance of the nursing staff was an incredible deal. Frankly, I would have paid more, I'm so happy with the result. Just use all my insurance. They explained I might need to money later, as it was only August and this was the entirety of my insurance money for the year. I don't care. I'll deal with later when it's later. Also, concerning the price, be clear, I had a complex case. I have no idea what he'd charge a 17-year-old whose wisdom teeth he could simple pop out in 10-minutes after a few shots of Novocaine and not put them under. They also wanted to sell me some pain management injection for a couple hundred bucks. My fiancée vetoed this for me because we were going to leave with a script for some serious pain meds, so I didn't get it. The work of Dr. Pashapour was so good, honestly, I didn't need it. Frankly, I took zero of the heavy-duty pain meds as well. A couple 800mg Ibuprofens which he also prescribed were more than enough. I attribute this to the excellent work despite my complex case. So, go to Dr. Pashapour. Don't be dismayed by wait times. Tell them to use all your insurance money possible. I was literally back at my desk the next day working. Two weeks later, the only way I could tell anything had been done to my teeth was the fact that I had 4 fewer of them. I made the right choice and I'm writing this review so you can do the same.

I scheduled a consultation with Dr. Pashapour for my daughter's wisdom teeth to seek information…read moreonly. Due to prom/graduation timing, we were not prepared to schedule surgery that day. After consulting with the doctor, we were taken to another room and presented with a treatment plan totaling about $6,200 after insurance, along with a required 20% deposit to schedule surgery. We repeatedly explained that we were not ready to commit to a date, but were encouraged to "just get something on the calendar" and told it could always be changed later. We eventually scheduled a tentative date and paid a $1,240 deposit. The office scheduled the surgery only 7 days before prom and assured us that was enough recovery time. At my daughter's next dental appointment, our regular dentist strongly disagreed and advised us to move the procedure, which I did. After speaking with insurance, other parents, and obtaining a second opinion from another highly rated oral surgeon, we were told my daughter's case appeared routine. The second office's total cost for the same procedure, including sedation and PRF treatment, was approximately $1,615 after insurance. I've attached a redacted comparison of both treatment plans so readers can evaluate the difference themselves. Once we decided not to proceed, I requested a refund of the $1,240 deposit. The office declined based on its policy that deposits are forfeited within 14 days of the original surgery date, which I do not recall being clearly explained verbally during scheduling. I understand every practice sets its own pricing and policies. My advice to other parents is simply: * Get a second opinion before oral surgery. * Compare treatment plans carefully. * Fully understand deposit/cancellation policies before scheduling.

The office was very clean, high end technology and everyone who worked there was friendly. There was no wait upon check in (which is almost rare with any doctors office), my hygienist was friendly and knowledgeable! &&& *drumroll* , the dentist came in right as I finished also with no wait. Dr. Kim presented with great bedside manner. And yes, for those who care, you do get dental goodie bags! I'm glad I was able to get in as a new client and even booked my next 2 appointments for next year due to a last minute cancellation .
