Everyone jumped through hoops to make a short-notice project 100% successful and stress-free. The cost was completely reasonable, especially given the abbreviated timeframe, and I wouldn't change a single thing about my experience with them. I would (and will) use them again, I will recommend them to everyone I know, and I hope everyone reading this will use them. So, my situation was this: I own a house in Kaysville that I rent out. It was vacant, and it was time to install carpet. Problem is, I live in Colorado and didn't have all the measurements, and would only be able to be in Kaysville for about 5 days. I called Johnson's on Friday, 10 June, and told them I would be in town 16-19 June. I let them know I had a video walkthrough of the house that might be able to give them a rough idea of the layout. I sent it to them. On Friday, and then again on Monday, they confirmed that they would absolutely be able to do this for me (I was more than a little worried only because another company had been saying for weeks they would be able to do it, and then on the 10th said they couldn't). On Tuesday I called to let them know I would actually be in town Wednesday the 15th, and they said I could come in and we could get started. Wednesday morning I went into the store for the first time, and the crew came out to measure. Long story short, by Wednesday night I had brand new, beautiful, professionally installed carpet throughout my entire house at a very, very reasonable price. The work crew was flexible and determined to get everything done that day and the office staff was incredibly friendly and helpful and flexible to find a carpet that would work and get it all completely resolved in a day. To review the timeline: Friday afternoon - first contact with Johnson via phone with huge request. Wednesday morning - first visit to office and initial house measurement. Wednesday night - Ta-da, everything is completely done to perfection, and Johnson's has a loyal customer for life.

It kept getting later and later he didn't show up. He made some excuse that he had to stop in Magna and stretch someone else's carpet. He neglected to text me and tell me he'd be running a little late. It turned out to a big fat lie. I gave him until 3:00 pm. He kept making excuses that they wanted him to do more work and again didn't notify me. It all turned out to be total lies and he's a scammer. It was too late to stop the Venmo transaction. He is really responsive until you send him money. I realized after I was too trusting and when I read other reviews here I noticed he had done the same thing two years ago. Also, he hadn't had a review on Yelp for over two years. Don't be trusting. I requested the money back through Venmo and he obviously didn't send the money back. Buyer beware this guy Miguel is a smooth snake like character. I hope I save someone else from getting ripped off from him.

We ripped out some of our carpets and decided to refinish the original wood floors. I called and left a message on Russell's message machine to call me. He didn't call back. So that same night I called again and he answered. We schedule for him to come at 10 am the next day. At 10:05 am he called and said he was stuck on a job. He wanted to reschedule for 12:30 - 1 pm. I said that would be fine. At 2 pm he still was not there. At 3 pm my husband called him and he didn't answer. My husband left a message to call us. To no surprise we never heard from Russell. We called simply hardwood and that was the right choice! They are amazing and they show up!
