JoAnna made a very uncomfortable experience so much easier for me with her sweet, calming demeanor. I got waxing done and she explained everything that she was doing and took good care of me. Tip: The salon is a suite inside of a larger place called Phenix Salon Suites- look for that name instead when finding the location! I've been to different waxing salons but would have to say this is the first experience where I felt genuinely comfortable! I came for a Brazilian, and Joanna is really sweet and we talked throughout the whole process. She told me the differences between hard and soft wax (she uses hard wax, the type that dries and can be taken off without the strips, and it is significantly less painful!) I also got pretty much my full body waxed so I had a bunch of different services done during one session. I have a low pain tolerance so I was VERY nervous going into it, especially because my first wax experience from a different location was very bad. However, I had a fantastic experience at Generation Wax Studio and it wasn't as painful as I thought it would have been. Joanna explained the process step by step, let me know a few days before my appointment how to prepare for waxing and gave great post wax care tips.
