This is not my first time to the Brickhouse. I've been going there for the past 9 yrs and they have always taken good care of me. The staff is welcoming and professional. I've had amazing massages from several of their masseuses and never been disappointed. This time I invited my neighbor along for pedicures. Also put my mind at ease about trying gel nails if I wanted to in the future without being pushy (I have had bad experiences with gel nails in the past). Deep tissue to get some stuck areas relaxed and moving followed by a warm neck wrap and eye pillow near the end of the massage. The light peppermint scent of the wrap was nicely invigorating. This was the most bizarre, uncomfortable pedicure I have ever had. I booked a spa pedicure last minute and was so stoked to get in- an end of day appointment on a Friday. Front desk staff were awesome and friendly and welcoming. The woman who did my pedicure seemed like she just wanted to be done and go home. She did not talk or communicate and SHE POKED MY LEGS REPEATEDLY to I guess indicate she was changing feet/legs. I have never been poked repeatedly. She avoided eye contact and conversation. Very creepy to be repeatedly poked. Obviously no light conversation and she just left before my nail polish was dry. Never had an experience like this in my life and it was creepy. My guess is the person that did my pedicure is not a measure of other providers there. I will probably go back but would never let her touch me again and it was so totally a creepy experience soley because of her. read more

I am new to the area and chose the Brickhouse after reading reviews here on Yelp. Went in for a pedicure with Shabita yesterday and it was probably the best pedicure I've ever had. She took me as soon as I arrived, was very friendly and professional, and the pedicure she gave was awesome! Great experience! Did not rush me through like some shops where it feels like an assembly line to get people in & out as quickly as possible (while trying to upsell additional services the whole time). The Brickouse has a way nicer vibe and welcoming atmosphere. I am very tenderfooted and many times dont like pedicures because the tech is too rough. Shabita made my feet so smooth and nails just perfect. No pain, no wincing and my feet look great. Already booked another appointment. Complimentary latte and wonderful massage chair were nice perks! Talked to the owner, Carrie, on my way out to tell her how impressed I was with the service and the salon (its clean, well decorated and has an awesome little gift shop). She seemed very committed to keeping clients happy and staff happy. read more

My experience was horrible. When I left after my 60 minute 'full body massage', I actually felt violated! This was not my first massage, although my first (and last) at The BrickHouse, but this was the most painful one. I told the masseur several times that he was using too much pressure but, after easing up momentarily, he would return to the painful pressure. He actually told me he was aiming for a 4 on the 'Pain Scale' (5 being excruciating pain). I even have bruising on my upper arm and back from whatever he did. I would not recommend The Brickhouse to anyone. In fact, if I could give negative stars in this review, I would. I'm just sorry that I didn't get up off the table and leave after the first few minutes. read more

I came here for a massage and pedicure on Jan 7, 2024. This place is so freaking cute the second you walk in. my massage with Allison was so relaxing and lovely. Being pregnant I feel she made sure I was comfy and truly enjoying my massage with her. For my pedicure I am the least bit impressed. I didn't get the girls name but she was too busy talking the whole time I feel she didn't give her best. My toes are all cut a different shape and some of my nails didn't even get painted all the way. I really wish I didn't get charged for this but I didn't say anything out of guilty conscious.. I'm also confused on the pricing since I only got a classic ped for $50 but I was charged $65 for mine. If I come back it would just be for a massage. read more

I had requested a female masseuse but when I arrived I had been placed with a male. I went ahead with the massage and have to say it was wonderful! This young man was very talented. The gel manicure was just paint, I usually get my cuticles and the full work up when I go to other nail salons so I was disappointed. The nail tech was very friendly however she said she wasn't going to give me the hand massage because I was already getting a massage after... Then my massage, they didn't have a room ready and I was waiting awkwardly in the hallway and the masseuse was very timid and I told him 3 times to go harder and he kept lightly massaging me. He was late to start because of the room situation and he finished 5 minutes early so it was not the 60 minutes my husband paid for. Probably won't ever return. read more

I love coming to the brick house. The staff is always welcoming and friendly. That hasn't changed. Unfortunately, I received a subpar massage. I didn't want to write this review because I truly don't believe the massage therapist I had did it purposely. I, myself, am a massage therapist so I know a little about what a good massage should be and they showed very little technical skill, didn't massage my back at all, which I asked for extra time on and pinched my arm above my elbow so hard multiple times that my nerves started shooting pain down my arm just as a couple examples. I found myself just waiting for the massage to be over. It had been close to a year since my last massage and I was really excited about it but was left wanting. Once again, it was not brick house's fault but I do believe the massage therapist needs more training and as a business I believe they should know. read more

This was my first time at the brick house. I was there to have a 60 minute massage with Jess. I was welcomed so warmly and felt comfortable right away. My massage was one of the best Ive had! Jess listened to me and my concerns and asked so many good questions that I felt incredibly comfortable with how my massage was going to go forward. She took the time to prepare my nails (filing, cuticle trimming, buffing etc.) The atmosphere is nice and the gift (file, cuticle oil, candy) was a great surprise. I've been coming to the Brickhouse now for over a year for manicures and pedicures. I just have them use regular polish, not gel. Their products last better than I have had anywhere else. The staff is AMAZING! They are positive and friendly, and really care about giving a high quality service. Their pricing is reasonable. It's in a separate room for these services and at most there is only one other client in the room at the time. There is background music that appeals to a wide variety of ages. The staff was friendly and the facility was nice and clean. However the service was not great. Getting the gel polish off my toe nails was painful. I've had plenty of pedicures in my life and I've never had anyone struggle this much. She filed the skin on my toes and took f.o.r.e.v.e.r to remove the polish. I was hoping it would be redeemed by the massage, but sadly that was subpar as well. Overall the pedicure was the worst I've ever had and the front desk was slow to check us out. I had a 90 minute Massage - . It was my first time there. I can't say I would ever go back nor would i ever recommend massage services by Hannah . The massage table (awful) that was actually a surgery type table was hard as a rock, and I developed a awful headache having my face in the cradle that was not very plush either. I was so looking forward to a good massage instead what I got was a rub down ... by that I mean she used her hands about 20% ( i'm being generous) and the time the rest of the time she used her forearm!!! . she never massages my arms or hands - I wasn't aware of a forearm massage- so for 90 minutes I got through it.... I can't say I enjoyed any part of it. I could not wait for it to get over. Hannah should stick with the cupping she mentioned - as she said it saves her hands. $110 -edit: my neck and back were so sore Saturday and Sunday from this massage this has never happened that table is the worst!!! read more

Its a great place, I really do enjoy it when I go. However I got a gift card for Christmas from my husband in 2020 and I have only been able to get in 1 time for a massage. The later appointment and weekends are booked out for months. Last November they asked if I wanted to be put on the cancellation list I said yes, they have not called me once, so I called today and booked a massage for the summer. It has been a couple of weeks since my 90-minute facial with Allie Neubauer, and I am so impressed. The experience was so amazing, and it was absolutely the BEST facial I have ever had. I think about it all the time. I'm trying to figure out how often I can go back because it was such a relaxing experience. The scalp massage, music, smells, hand treatment, foot treatment, etc... I can't even explain how amazing it was. I never realized what a good face massage felt like, but now I will never go anywhere else. I highly recommend Allie (make sure you ask for the right one because they have a few there). The Brickhouse also has a great atmosphere, and everyone was so helpful and welcoming. I was given a gift card for Christmas and just had my appointment for a facial and massage yesterday (they have about a 3-4 month wait for booking multiple services for the same day) Hannah did my massage and sky did my facial and both were much needed. Upon arrival the lobby was clean and spacious, the coffee bar is to the left and the receptionist is to the right. I showed up right at my appointment time and didn't know that I had to fill out paperwork prior to my appointment so the lady in the front seemed a little irritated but I don't think that was towards me because after my appointments she was super friendly. My massage was nice, not the best that I've had but I liked that Hannah checked in with me on the pressure. The room for the massage was too bright, the blinds don't cover enough sunlight coming in and there was a lot of noise in the lobby so it was hard to relax and is why I'm not giving 5 stars but Hannah did offer me an eye pillow for when I turned over on my back and that was super helpful. The facial room was darker than the massage room which didn't make sense but it made for a more relaxing experience with the facial! Sky also checked in with me during the facial and the scalp/ shoulder massage was amazing! The beds are also heated so that was an added bonus! For the price of the services I wish all of the rooms were more relaxing and sound proof like other high end salons but I will definitely be back because of how friendly and knowledgeable the staff were. They also offer Manis and pedis but I didn't try those services this go around. They also provided me with a robe and a bag to put my belongings in while I waited for my facial. read more
