Took my niece in for first ear piercing. Initial greeter very nice but he turned us over to lady owner who rang up a cost of almost $200!!! Online price listed as $100 (which is still steep). Bought tiny gold circle earrings for after 6 weeks, that was extra. Stunned, asked owner for Itemized receipt. She wrote on back of priginal cash register receipt. Added to $100 was notary fee of $10, "aftercare" (tiny bag of sea salt) 2,50 and tee tea gold earring $60 !!! with nothing on earring card to say they are 14k gold or even 10k gold!!! Then, add the tax was like over $17 so that's how a quoted price of $100 DOUBLES!!! They are very slippery. We waited for an apparent inexperienced girl to call us back. NOONE ELSE WAS IN YHE ENTIRE SHOP. First pierced ear shot blood all down the brand new white tee shirt dear to my niece. Lots of apologies but that's it. I visited this shop on Friday August 29, 2025. This was hands down the worst piercing experience of my life. My septum was pierced way too low, causing excruciating pain, and I had to remove it within 1 single day. The piercer dropped the jewelry ball on the floor and had me and my boyfriend scrambling to find it behind a half-full, open hazardous waste bin to look for it-- was he seriously going to put that back in a fresh piercing? He claimed to have decades of piercing experience.. On top of that, he made a bizarre comment about all belly button jewelry tarnishing while putting the overpriced jewelry I JUST BOUGHT AT THEIR SHOP that they claim to be authentic into my belly button. The shop was a mess, overpriced, and the staff pressured me to tip before doing anything. I spent over $200 for unsafe, careless, and unprofessional service. I am shocked this place is still open. went in to get an idea of a price for my first tattoo, asked for a quote on a small snake wrapped around my forearm. length was from mid forearm to wrist. was told from the lady that the snake with scales would be $500. so I said okay how much would it be to just get the outline and she told me $250. so without knowing and it being my first tattoo, I paid $250 for an outline of a snake wrapped around my arm. the artist initially did the outline of the snake then decided at the end that it didn't even look like a snake so he free handed the top of the snakes head. went to another shop 1 month later and got the scales done for $100 for reference, with shading. I don't recommend this scamming place at all. they take advantage of first timers but won't do that to anyone that has gotten a tattoo before. this place shouldn't have a 4 star rating when they charge you $250 for $15 in ink and $30 in labor for 10 minutes of sitting in the chair. i was beyond pissed walking out of this shithole read more

My family and I went in for tattoos in Memory of my brother, who passed away. From the moment we walked in the door Jodi was very helpful. While we were there my daughter got her cartilage pierced by Cali, who was very good with my daughter. For the tattoo, we requested Kevin, as that's who my brother always spoke of. Kevin was amazing. He listened to what we wanted, he incorporated everything we asked, he told us his process as he was doing it and he made it comfortable. I've been tattooed before but It was my moms first. She trusted Kevin and never second guessed herself. Also while we were there my son decided to get his first tattoo. Kevin also did it, my son showed him a pic and he ran with it. Warning long post!! My daughter has ONLY sought services for all her piercings from GenerationX, the experience has always been great. The guy with the cheek piercings is awesome. On June 27th I reached out to Generation X because my daughter wanted a tattoo for her Birthday. As requested we sent in pictures and provided details verbally from there we asked that the artist use his skills and create his masterpiece. I was told when we arrived we would review and make any alterations needed. Jodi was my point of contact. I spoke with Jodi on 08/03. He stated that Kevin was our artist and at that very moment was sketching out my daughter's tattoo and getting ready for use to view it. I expressed we would arrive in Daytona on 08/04. He said that was great to come anytime after 12. We arrived sometime after 12:30ish; however, we were advised he worked late and would be in later. We came back hours later and waited over 2 hours. The excuses I received when asked were the hell he was were -He is on his way back to the store -He is waiting on his food -He is taking food to his lady -He took the food home was on his way back then realized he forgot his phone and had to turn around to get it. When he finally arrived he walked passed every customer with no acknowledgement whatsoever and sat behind a computer for 20 minutes. At that time my patience ran out and frustration increased. When he finally had time for business he had NOTHING SKETCHED OUT. I expressed what I was told and my frustration. He replied, I don't have to draw a F'n thing. I said no you f'n don't. At that point my business was done. I was ready to leave but couldn't because after hsbong to wait so long my daughter's friend decided to provide them with additional business by getting a piercing. Disaster! It took almost an hour to simply put on a ball. After her torture they offered no compensation. After my frustration was evident the lady advised me I had an attitude (sure did) and was being rude!!!. She told my I was wrong for slamming her spring hinged door. Next, was Kevin was an artist and doesn't draw out tattoos. Lastly was his son passed away a month ago and I should be nicer and how would I feel if it were my child. My heart breaks for him and his family for such a tragic loss. We were their for business though. They offered a different artist but after experiencing how big of a liar the lady was and her blaming me for Kevin's unprofessionalism I wanted nothing to do with that business. I don't feel great after this experience. There was a guy behind the counter who was very kind, and listened, and talked through my tattoo with me. I thought maybe he would be the artist, but he just helped in the front for our visit. We were quoted by the woman behind the counter. A bit high for the sizes we were looking to get. We explained it was out of our price range and they worked with us, which I appreciated very much. After explaining to the guy at the front what I was looking to do, it was not very well communicated to the artist in the back. I mentioned to the artist that I was looking for a simple vine to be the circle in the knot... but the sketch didn't reflect that. It was the exact sketch I brought in to help give an idea... as a reference. No adjustments made, nothing I said at the front counter was taken into consideration. I recognize that I should have spoken up and said something, and that is on me... however, if there is good communication between the artist and the client before beginning the session, it eliminates these moments. I have seen some of Country's work, as we did a little homework before heading over, and I feel like he wasn't too interested in this piece and rushed through it to get done and move on. He has some amazing pieces, but this one wasn't quite it. The line work could be better, and in the end it's not what I asked for. That being said, he did a good job shading it. If the quality was lacking due to price reduction, I would have preferred to wait. My husband's artist was Gary, and he is very happy with his tattoo, communication, and experience. Another thing that left a bad taste in my mouth; we were offered a "waterproof" cover for our new tattoos before going back to get them. It was only ten bucks each... we declined because we have tattoos and we're okay with taking care of them. Turns out this was what the artist put on the new ink regardless. It's how they get them to heal more quickly. Soo... it appeared the woman behind the counter was trying to get more profits in a rather dishonest way, which is a bit frustrating and definitely doesn't encourage a return visit for our next tattoo. read more

When my wife asked for her money back the owner started yelling and cursing her. We ended up calling the cops. The woman is certifiably nuts! "We don't do refunds, and I dont even know how to do refunds." I could understand if they made you give like a 50$ deposit to start, and you didnt get that back if you canceled. I went in yesterday to get my daith done and my third piercings in my lobes. The piercer was very sweet but also very young and not sure how experienced she is. She says to take a deep breath in and deep breath out as one sentence instead of timing it with the actual piercings. I know this is not required but those small details help with the whole experience. There is only one option for the studs and they are hideous. As we were done I was kind of forced to make a review on yelp in exchange for a t shirt... which should've been a red flag when I pulled up yelp and saw their horrible reviews. read more

Not totally thrilled. A lot of things were off, the guy at the front was rather intense and seemed to be distracted. When I walked back to get my piercing, the person barely spoke to me, didn't clean the area or warn me about the clamp before they stuffed it up my nose. They stuck the needle in without warning me so I could brace myself, which made me jump. My piercing is incredibly painful and swollen from the whole ordeal. I'm disappointed and won't be returning again, unfortunately. The guy at the counter was very sweet but not very knowledgeable. I purchased a stud and left. Within hours of putting the jewelry in, my lip was itching. By the time I got home it was visibly swollen and had started to get goopy and crusty. I took it out and resterilized it just in case, but the next day, the same thing happened. I have several body piercings and I only react that way when jewelry is straight up nickel. I've never heard of a reputable establishment selling such low quality jewelry. went in with no previous experience to this place, walking in was cool vibes but when we paid up front before any services, i found it a little sketchy. i got my septum done and it came out to be almost $80 with jewelry and aftercare. i was interested in a tiny linework tattoo on my hand and the lady up front told me it would be $200 minimum for anything on the hand, and gave me a final price of $100. totally didnt go through with it. the friend i was with got snake bites done and paid $150 with jewelry and aftercare. the guy she had talked to on the phone before we went told her a totally different price and mentioned a deal he would include. after the service we both agreed that our piercings looked a little off, the piercer didnt seem to have a ton of experience, mentioned she had been piercing with no license for a while, she asked no prior questions such as; did we eat today, drink any water. she also didnt ask about my septum placement after she marked it. she kinda just shoved the needle through. after i felt that it was too low in my nose. definitely dont recommend this place or their services. read more
