Dr Myers is such a kind and caring OBGYN. He was patient with me and trauma informed as an GYN before I was pregnant. He was attentive and helpful as an OB while I was pregnant. NEVER typing on a computer during my appointments and always answering my questions. Love his nurse Teresa too. I saw Dr Myers for 90% of my OB visits except if he was on vacation which was great to have that consistency. read more

WOW! The rudeness and entitlement with Carolyn the appt. setter is wild. Trying to express I have been a long term patient but haven't been in in 3 years so is there any gray area for an appt and she would rather be catty and none helpful than say, let me see or I hear you're in pain and I am sorry. Check with someone. Something can always be done and Dr. O'Kelly will hear about this and the fact you tried to push me into seeing a female practitioner as I tried to tell the staff who my Dr. was. I see why these ratings are so low. There are many ways to say I can't do that and the way the appt. desk chooses to do it is nasty. Uncalled for. Absolutely ridiculous. read more

Very very unorganized. They said they have a late policy of 15 minutes and when I was 5 minutes late they pushed my appointment back. They were gossiping about me behind the desk when I was obviously right in front of them. The front desk ladies are on a high horse and think they are in touchable. Wait times for appointments are ridiculous, and nobody ever answers the phone. It took 4 months to get someone to answer just so I could refill my birth control prescription. The nurses are nice and so is Dr. Talley, but the front desk staff do not make you feel welcome or comfortable at all. read more

My experience here is not the greatest, especially for me who is going through the changes. Dr. Cummings is not supportive and seems to be more focused on those of child bearing age. Her lack of compassion and caring is not something that I expected for this visit. I'm going to find another doctor who will listen and help me through this rather than allowing me to just go in this change with full blown symptoms. I don't want to have night sweats and hot flashes at every turn! Shouldn't it be a smooth translation? I would only hope. read more

I have been going to this office for a few years now and have had a decent experience. I do feel like I always have to remind my provider why I am there and who I am, which isn't encouraging. But, recently my husband and I have entered into fertility treatments with this office. They lost our order for fertility testing we had done and no one got back to us. After two weeks, I finally called them. The provider had to read the results and it has been an additional two weeks now since my first call. I feel like no one is listening to me or cares that this very sensitive and important information ever gets back to us. I literally cried on the phone and still no one will resolve this for me. I'm extremely disappointed and honestly thinking that this will never be provided to me. I am seriously considering moving practices at this point. read more

From the moment I walked into the office, I was greeted with nothing but warmth and kindness from the front desk staff, nurses, techs, and directors. Over the few months I was pregnant, I barely had to wait for appointments. Dr. Greene took her time with me at every appointment and I never felt rushed. I would definitely recommend this office and especially Dr. Greene. It's a rare find to come across a medical group this great. read more

They are all super nice in person, but the wait is disgusting. When I needed an appointment to change my birth control, they scheduled me two months away because they "couldn't get me in sooner." They are hateful over the phone unless you're new. They told me to call to make an appointment to get an iud put in when I started my period. When I called, I sat on the phone for 45 minutes before someone picked up and finally spoke to me just to tell me they couldn't get me in that week and that I should wait until my next period or schedule to get it in when I'm not on my period despite how painful it would be. What kind of a doctor's office is this? It's a garbage one. I'll tell you that. read more

Dr. Myers and the entire crew at Generations are amazing! We chose this practice to deliver our first baby and throughout the process my wife has been taken care of in such a comfortable and caring way. They are incredibly patient with first time parents and happily answer all the inevitable questions and concerns we have had throughout our first pregnancy. Best of all, we've seen Dr. Myers for 95% of our visits (the two exceptions being he was delivering another baby on one visit and was vacationing with his family on the other). Even still, we saw another primary doctor (Dr. Cottam and Dr. O'Kelley), both of whom were fantastic to deal with. I'd HIGHLY recommend Generations to my family members and best friends. read more

I almost died thanks to the negligence of this practice. If it were not for my PCP and the ER I would have. They left me hemorrhaging on a couch for 3 weeks without a return call. They made me sign paperwork saying a surgery was fully explained to me while I was on high doses of pain killers and not competent to sign. The hospital wouldn't let me sign anything but they forced me to. My husband was there the entire time and they never explained the surgery, the risks, the recovery. This had been a major problem since September 2021 and they refused to see me instead forced me to go to the ER where I contracted COVID. Then tried to blame the COVID. They are nasty on the phone and refuse to return calls in a timely manner. YOU LEFT A HEMORRHAGING PATIENT ON A COUCH FOR 3 WEEKS WITHOUT CHECKING IN AFTER TELLING ME YOU WOULD CALL TOMORROW THEN WERE NASTY WHEN YOU DID. This practice is a disgrace and I plan on reporting them to the medical board. RUN AS FAST AS YOU CAN. This practice no longer cares about their patients. I just received my return call in February, my first call to get help for hemorrhaging was in September. read more

I will not be returning to this practice. I recently moved back to Knoxville after living out of state for the past 8 years. I wanted to get an established doctor for check ups etc. I had them do all the normal tests. I had one result come back positive (which was super scary) I immediately called and asked for an appt to talk to the doctor. During the visit the doctor insisted that my result was correct & that I shouldn't get another test to verify. I told him there was no way this could be real & told him to test me again. The information he gave me regarding these results / timing etc were incorrect. I spoke to another doctor who verified. Also, the second test results came back negative. Had I not insisted on having the second test, I don't know what would have happened to my personal life. This false postive and the incorrect information from the doctor caused a lot of trouble with me and my partner. Lastly, I've been paying my copay every time I go in & now they send a bill to my mother. I am in my 30's. Apparently they had my mother's information from when I was in High School. Overall, I do not trust this practice and had a very unprofessional experience. I would not recommend to anyone. read more

I waited over an hour to see Dr. Green today thinking I was going to have my appointment. I was even charged my copay ahead of time. From the moment I got there, they just shuffled me from waiting room to waiting room. When it was finally my turn for my appointment, I realized toward the end of the conversation with the doctor that she didn't actually plan on doing anything that day. So I waited an hour for the doctor to schedule another appointment on a different day. What a joke. Everything they told me could have been said over the phone. They are just doing this to get the extra money. It's just doctors being doctors. Just trying to get all your money. DO NOT GO HERE UNLESS YOU WANT TO PAY OVER AND OVER AGAIN FOR NOTHING!! read more

Dr. Craig Myers is wonderful he delivered our daughter was great through the whole process. The office staff and billing department is another story, they are very unhelpful. I love Dr. Myers but I will most likely go somewhere else due to the lack of incompetence of the staff. read more

My sister went there today to get a sonagram after the discovery of a very large tumor that runs from her Uterus to underneath her rib cage and was turned away for only having $100 on her to pay toward her visit. This was after being reassured by one of their Dr's that they would care for her despite her lack of insurance or income. I cannot at this point even begin to express the outrage I feel toward their reception desk at this time. read more

Dr. Many is very nice and thorough. However, it seems like you have to go through an act of Congress to get anyone to call you back. I'm a pregnant patient, and have had to call many times about the same symptom to finally get someone to contact me back. There isn't anywhere I can email the office manager or owners of Generations to complain about this policy. You really feel like you are being passed around to different people just to get an answer. read more

My experience at this practice is negative based on the staffs treatment of the patient. The staff often will not return phone/nurse calls and the office managers do not find this to be a negative situation. Several of the staff members became close to me during my visits and I learned that there was serious tension between employees. Care may rely heavily upon whether or not the staff likes you. Unfortunatly, the practice seems to be riddled with employees that determine who gets care and who doesn't based on social preferences. read more

I've been a patient here for many, many years (don't know why I stayed.) Was a patient with one provider who was horrible. He wouldn't tie my tubes after delivery because he said he didn't like doing that and when I did deliver my daughter she was crowning and we had to hold her back and he wasn't in any hurry getting his gloves on to deliver. Then here I am, older (40 ish) and pregnant, but miscarrying. I'm with another doctor and haven't met with her yet, but went in for an EMERGENCY with the pregnancy (an ultrasound) and they took me in a room when I was visibly upset and crying and they shoved a payment form in my face and demanded several hundred dollars for the ultrasound. REALLY!?!? Then I was told I am miscarrying..to come in and see the doctor in a few days, no need for followup ultrasound. I get a call today from a nurse who says, "You have an appointment with Dr. X for an ultrasound and you need to pay the same several hundred that you paid the last time." I said, "I am not getting an ultrasound...I was told yesterday I am miscarrying." Silence on the line. Like for REAL people?? I would not recommend this practice to anyone. They are not happy people, the waiting time is long and they didn't even call me for the results of the first set of blood testing when they said they would. DO NOT GO HERE! read more

Excellent care. Every provider and employee encountered has been helpful and friendly.

My wife was pregnant and we were referred to Generations by her primary care physician. Generations could cut their client list in half and they would still have more clients then they are capable of handling. We never once saw her Doctor. Only the NP all the way up to her miscarriage. She only had her hormone levels checked to confirm pregnancy and then after the miscarriage had occurred. When my wife was in the process of having the miscarriage we were told to go to the mall and walk around for a while because the lab work would take a while. We received the call about the lab work, informing us that a miscarriage was most likely going to happen, 3 days later. Obviously there are some other small annoyances that occurred in between too. My wife was on the verge of an emotional breakdown that was enhanced only by their treatment, and we know at least one other person that ran as far away as possible based on never seeing a doctor and the policy of only allowing a in office Dr. switch once and no consultations. I wouldn't refer someone I thoroughly dislike to Generations. read more
