They have several plants you can choose from. They have from a cactus to a sunflower and everything in between! They have a greenhouse that has a huge turtle in its own area, and several different air plants and a cactus that was probably at least 30' tall! It was massive! If you want to meet other animals, they have them everywhere. Outside there are chickens, sheep, and a goat that is not the nicest but is so adorable! (Warning he will buck your hand if you try to touch anything in his area). There are bunny rabbits inside the store that are hilarious and adorable. The one that was out when I was there was very friendly. He allowed me to pick him up. The store also has several odds and ins that you can look at and they are for purchase. The biggest shout out I have to give is to a manager named Hayden that was inside the shop at the time I came. She was super honest, and helpful with my plant selection. If I could give her 100 stars I would because I love honest folks! She gave me advice on some plants that I currently have as well and i was so appreciative of it all! So if you are a beginner or event someone that has several plants but is learning definitely stop by and see her and she will get you on the correct path! All in all this place is amazing and definitely worth a visit, for all the plant lovers!

Damn you Urban Roots Garden Center!!…read more I was only supposed to go for one plant, one beginner plant to ease into the addiction of planting and such. Green thumbs have propagated like crazy due to COVID-19 and I got the itch as well. Welp, Urban Roots just had to be so freaking cute and take all of my monies. It was actually raining the day I went and it made me want to buy even more. WTF Mother Nature. Something about being in the rain in the midst of all these plants and flowers was such a cathartic release, I just went berserk and decided to buy every plant that made me happy. Me and my friends ended up buying so many plants and pots, including soil, that my group actually walked away with this BEAUTIFUL orchid that was potted and everything. I think between the three of us we spent like $600, it was definitely a Parks & Rec "Treat Yo Self" moment, and I don't regret it one bit. Everything was reasonably priced! I also appreciate it wasn't a flat rate, and rather you pay based on the size of each respective plant within it's category. (Category is... Green Thumb. Succulents, Indoor, And Garden) Grab a bag of the ocean soil and just throw in the few extra bucks. My plants are still living and I genuinely believe it's because of the soil. I can't wait to go back but I'm going to have to wait because my wallet doesn't understand anything budgets and rationality when I'm here. The staff was so friendly and checking out was super easy too. You leave everything underneath the station outside, they write down your order, you take it in to purchase and *bam* you're good to go!
