I don't doubt your sincerity, but you might take another look at your school statistics and see what the average SAT score really is. Oh... I just looked it up. IN 2005, the max score went up to 2400. In 2016 it came back down to 1600 again. I see how one could get confused about that.

They will be rude to your kids as if they employ them. This school is a no nonsense business and your children are their employees, keep away from this poor excuse for an education at all costs EDIT: For those who doubt that I went to this school. My art teacher, Mrs F, was out of her mind. She gave us yellow foam to use for 'art'. She told us not to get it in our eyes. We were in 6th grade. She never taught. Never. My Spanish teacher sent one of friends home for wearing sweatpants. This was not uncommon. They hold an auction every year to generate funds.They have multiple magazine subscription sales programs where students are encouraged to sell magazines in exchange for prized. One such prize, costing one subscription, is a random drawing from a pencil dispenser. They drawing determine your price, often what was literally a colored cotton ball. Their honor role was paid. A $5 donation bought you a place on the honor roll. They state on their website that 100% of their graduates enroll in college. When I was there, there were 4 seniors. The fees for this school are huge. Which is fine if it weren't a toxic environment where revenue is put above students. Everything they do is done to create the illusion that they are using your money for the benefit of your kids. Do not be fooled. Get out while you can. Public school is much better, with teachers that actually care.

They have so many different ethnic groups within the center and to me that's special and something to be proud about. I come from a family a large family 11kids total (some are mixed, some are white and some are black) I will say when people pull the racist card and expect people to feel sorry for them without sharing the FULL truth on the circumstance that's not okay. The College is actually of Catholic background. Lawd knows if I was attending there would be spontaneous combustion since I am banned from churches, but it's not about me so let me stop. The actual dorms are rather roomy and nice. It was hard to leave my signature when it came to financial portion, but hey the child will have an awesome education, so it will be worth it. The main office is located in the vintage portion of the college, that kind of scared me- but once our tour was started, I quickly saw the newer and safer buildings that were part of the campus. Wow, these kids will have better eats then I did. They have their own restaurant which of course has three courses from breakfast to dinner. Really good and healthy food too. And their gymnasium is pretty big also. I think that I you decide to go here (and it is 3 hours away from Chicago), you will be impressed.

My low rating pertains to mainly the doctorate of physical therapy program. I felt as an undergrad…read morethat I was groomed for acceptance to the DPT program but was denied every time I applied, even though I followed all of their instructions. I majored in exercise science and had no other options for a career once I graduated with my undergrad. They did not look out for me or care what happened to me once I graduated. This is not a one time occurrence. Someone close to me was also completely screwed over by Ambrose's DPT program. He had to transfer schools mid-program due to Ambrose's misguided and unfair program. They told him false-promises that resulted in a worse situation for him. He followed all instructions from director, Mike Puthoff, to be able to stay but was thrown out and abandoned without remorse. Overall, Mike Puthoff is a two-faced, unfair, and mediocre program director with DPT passing rates plummeting ever since he took over. He has poor management over instructors in his program and has yet to prove any care towards the students he teaches. The material taught at Ambrose is mediocre at best and needs to be re-evaluated along with their director.

There is so much information at your fingertips here that you'll never need to go to another place again! The library, the internet, Target. . .all of these have been rendered obsolete by the meticulous records and comprehensive books found at the SSWIRC. Need to know how many Swedish Immigrants entered America in 1923? Come on down! Got a really, really specific report about Swedish immigrants due in like 10 hours? They'll help ya! Having trouble locating Sweden on a map? Not a problem for this staff! And that's one of the best parts, too: the staff. They are so helpful and know literally everything about Swedish Immigration. Go on, ask them to name every Swedish immigrant ever and then marvel as they begin rattling off every name, from Andruws Aaker all the way to Zergei Zetterburg! Respektingivande! One time, I had a flat tire in front of the SSWIRC building and two members of the staff rushed outside and changed it for me. No jack, no tools. Just lifted the car up and swapped the tire out, all while singing Swedish immigration folk songs. These guys will go the extra kilometer! I swear to God that this place is awesome. I go there at least twice a week, and I live in Tirane, Albania! I am going to go broke constantly visiting this museum, but I will do it in style. Tre skål för den SSWIRC!!!
