Being a member, I thought they were doing me a favor, but they were not. I've been a member for over four years, and with this loan for two years, and they take all the interest upfront. Also, if you run into any difficulties, they make almost no effort to help. There are other credit unions that are way better, but it is best to go through a bank, not credit unions at all. Banks will work with debt management companies whereas credit unions won't. If you ever get behind or in a jam, which can happen, these are the last people who would help. Also, four years of perfect payments makes no difference to them. Don't go here. That is my advise.
