Based on what l observed, these decisions affected local athletes who were genuinely pursuing opportunities. When concerns were raised, the program was suddenly shut down with no transparency or accountability. Students and community members deserve better. Silence protects corruption. Institutions must uphold the values they preach.

They were easy to find via search on maps online. I've always had good experiences with haircuts, trims and color around the country at cosmetology schools but this was by far the most professional looking school I had ever encountered! I don't know who runs it but I'd like to find out. First off, when I went inside, I was greeted by a beautiful, calm, almost spa-like atmosphere instead of the usual smell of perming solution and color. I don't know if I was just there on a good day or if this is the usual way, but bravo to the owner and staff for the ambience. (See picture, had I not been in a hurry that day I think I would have indulged in a full line of services and took many more pictures of the mottos on the walls). The students and instructors, most of whom I did notice were younger and female, had well put together looks...ranging from conservative to alternative/experimental. The clientele that day were like myself: ranging from middle aged women up to the elderly. The young lady who did my hair consult seemed to immediately understand my hair type and I opted to get wash and waves similar to what she was wearing that day. I was going to get a trim but it wasn't necessary and I like that she didn't talk me into unneeded services, something I have unfortunately experienced at many salons. We had a good chat about a variety of topics as she worked on my look. I left there feeling more confident. I should have took a before picture, as my hair was a complete humidity-trashed messed when I had arrived. The only downfall to the experience is despite a light dusting of hairspray, my look didn't last two days as I was hoping; it lasted twelve hours. I don't know whether to attribute that to my hair or maybe it needed the humidity-proof hairspray I have used in the past, but all in all, I give Kristen and the others a 5 out of 5 and will definitely return when I am in the area again one day.

The property sold some years ago and was purchased by the college. The college has about 1000 students each year who attend the four years of college there. We enjoyed lunch looking out over the valley and areas below while eating a picnic lunch! It was so enjoyable! The school built in 1955 definitely has that throwback feel. Now it is used as a training facility. I loved the training I attended and would certainly recommend this place to others.
