I called again on Saturday morning and they got me right in for a cut, color, eyebrow wax and pedicure. Tyler and the teacher helping did a great job on my hair. I wish the color was a little more red but I'll know for next time. My eyebrow wax was also well done. However, my pedicure is another story. The girl sat down and said she was going to time herself to have it done in 25 minutes. What? 10 minutes in she was ready to put on the base coat. She cut my nails (unevenly) and didn't file them. Didn't remove cuticles or calluses. I told her I had to go and didn't let her finish. The school was very nice and only charged me for the cut and color. I recommend for hair but not for nails!

So I decided to go to the CHATTANOOGA campus it was inside of a dentist office that was held on every Saturday. I met with Jessica after talking to her everything seem so gravy I was so excited about getting a degree changing my career only if I knew it was the start to a nightmare ! I signed up for the CHATTANOOGA winter 2023 class. Paid in full on 12/06/22.... I'll say about a week later I get a call saying they won't be having a Chattanooga class I'll have to come to Knoxville location because of scheduling issues (witch that's not what I just paid for) but that same phone call the more me and Jessica talked she slipped and said only 2 of us signed up for the winter class I asked was there going to be a class next go around here witch was post to be in March (so no refund would need to take place) and was told they can't guarantee that ! So I asked for a refund on 12/29/22... so there is a nun refundable $150.00 if you withdrawal witch I did not get back witch I felt like I should've because it wasn't my fault they didn't hold up on there end. In there paper work it says once you request a refund it takes 45 Calendar days to get it..so after asking texting and calling with no returns....here it is February 20th I asked my credit card company to dispute the charge because I obviously wasn't getting my money back after I filed and signed papers with the bank to go after my money.. wasn't 3 days later Janet the owner started texting me asking me if I got a refund witch she knew I did not....it's a shame I had to go through all that and they not hold up there end forced me to back out they kept $150.00 on something they couldn't hold up on so that was free money to them... if I could give 0 stars I would and if I was you I would pick another school because I rather pay $15,000.00 then to pay them there 5k. I have added pics of the texts of how long it's took me to get the refund so the 45 days was a lie and where I had to file for my bank to go after my money!! I'm not enrolled in this school, hence why I didn't leave a full one star, but I had to take an…read moreexam here as it was the only Pearson testing site that had a date range I needed and it was an AWFUL experience. Their testing site had NO parking, and neither did any other building nearby. I had to park opposite side of the school and that alone almost made me miss the exam. Then, for some reason, they wouldn't accept my drivers license as an ID...? Despite all other Pearson testing locations I've been to using my DL. Also wouldn't take my student ID from my college I attend. But they had no problem telling me that my credit/debit card counts as a valid ID. Which is all very suspicious to me. The computer they assigned to me didn't work; the PC cut off multiple inches off the right side of my test so that I couldn't answer some questions, so I had to be moved to another computer. Very frustrating experience and now the only place I will do Pearson testing is at Georgia Northwestern in Rome; their testing site has never gave me any issues and the instructor is always kind to me there.

I hardly recognize the campus…read morenow -- new buildings everywhere, a beautiful library complex, & a huge gym and aquatic center. It's a nice vibe here because it's nestled right in the heart of the city. But, you can easily reach a huge greenway along the river, the art district, or walk across a long pedestrian bridge to shopping and parks. As a place to be a student, I found it to be pretty good overall. Now, with 25 years passing, I have no idea if the professors or education are like the past. But, I think the UT system does a decent job. I was well prepared for the future -- attending higher ranked graduate schools. UTC is what you make of it. Overall: Worth checking out if you want an urban campus that's not overwhelmingly big.
