About eight months ago I found myself in the deepest darkest depression that I have ever known. I have suffered from depression for most of my life, but this is the first time I have ever had thoughts of suicide. Dr. Rodriguez saw me twice a week for six weeks and customize a program for me which worked miracles. The program at "the center", deals with many conditions from addiction to eating disorders. My specific issue is anxiety and depression. I won't going to details about my treatment but all I can say is that I really felt that I was being listened to and treated as an individual. During my time in the partial hospitalization phase of my program, the staff took care of making sure I had access traditional treatments such as therapy (Group), and even things like aerial yoga. I am a healthcare professional and I have worked in the field of mental health. This is the only place that I have ever seen where the patient is treated like an individual, and not a cookie-cutter approach. To sum it up, the staff was courteous and caring, the facility was clean and adequate, lunch was provided as well as snacks. My primary therapist is wonderful, her name is Abby. I have met the other therapist and they are, I'm sure just as great. I am doing so much better now, I am back to work and having a much easier time interacting in social situations.if you are looking for a place that will help you in your dark time I would highly recommend the Delray Center for healing.

Complaint Regarding Dr. Raul Rodriguez, M.D. I am submitting…read morethis complaint regarding my interaction with Dr. Raul Rodriguez during my evaluation for treatment with Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) and IV ketamine therapy. Before committing to treatment, I wanted to confirm that my insurance would cover these services through the required pre-certification process. I believed this was a reasonable and responsible step before scheduling what would be a significant course of treatment. At the time of my second appointment with Dr. Rodriguez, I had not yet received the insurance determination. The pre-certification approval was received the following day. During that appointment, Dr. Rodriguez became visibly upset because I had not yet committed to scheduling treatment. He characterized me as being "difficult" simply because I was waiting for confirmation of insurance coverage. During the conversation, he also stated that if I thought he was "an asshole," I could leave. I had made no such accusation, nor had I said anything that would reasonably provoke such a statement. I was completely taken aback by his language, demeanor, and the confrontational nature of the encounter. As a retired physician with approximately 30 years of clinical practice, I understand the standards of professionalism, respect, and dignity that patients deserve. In my opinion, Dr. Rodriguez's behavior fell well below those standards. Rather than engaging in a respectful discussion, he responded with hostility and attempted to pressure me into immediately committing to treatment despite the unresolved insurance issue. Patients undergoing treatment for depression are often emotionally vulnerable and deserve compassion, patience, and professionalism. Instead, I experienced an interaction that was unnecessarily adversarial and intimidating. The treatment protocol required follow-up appointments with Dr. Rodriguez every two weeks throughout the course of treatment. After reflecting on our interaction, I realized I would carry considerable resentment and distrust toward him during the treatment process. I believed that this negative therapeutic relationship would undermine the effectiveness of treatment and interfere with my ability to participate openly and confidently in my care. For that reason, I canceled my follow-up appointment two days later and chose not to proceed with treatment under Dr. Rodriguez's care. I found Dr. Rodriguez's conduct to be highly unprofessional, inappropriate, and inconsistent with the standards I would expect from a physician entrusted with the care of patients suffering from depression and other mental health conditions.

I have been coming here now for seven months and I feel like I need to tell everyone my experience. Laura who answered the phone was BEYOND helpful and such a delight! I was moving from another state and needed to establish a new doctor and I was able to get in around my time not the doctors time. (I love the flexibility they offer ) Laura called me to confirm my appt the day before and asked me if I had any questions and even asked about my move! ( No one ever stops to ask how people are these days!) When I arrived I was there 15 mins early and I was the only patient in the waiting area. ( I read reviews they over book there are over 8-10 people waiting which is a LIE!!!!) I was greeted by the Dr and we went over all my medically and past doctor visit. For privacy reasons I will not list why I was there but when I left I felt very comfortable with the staff and the Dr. I am going on my 8 month and I enjoy coming here. Upon arrival to neupath, I was uncertain. I was alone, and Google maps takes you through some dark…read moreside roads into a now repurposed warehouse lot which I was unfamiliar . However, once I found the entrance and stepped inside, I was pleasantly surprised.. I've visited for a breath work/sound healing class. The facilitators were very talented and professional. They guided the class through different breathing techniques which brought us into a meditative state. This was accompanied by sound healers, who not only did a sound bath for the whole group, but also went around throughout the session, giving each person in their own sound immersion. All of the tools were provided, and helped sink deeper into the immersion. The room was set up, similar to a yoga room with how you would have the math laid out however, instead of yoga mas there were these comfortable, thick, personal mattresses, a blanket folded into a pillow, a leg bolster as well as an eye mask. The ambience of the room evoke the sense of calm and set the tone for the session and was mindfully dimly lit, relaxing, and had beautiful ornamental flowers hanging from the ceiling and in the room. The facilitator's voice was gentle and helped me melt into meditation like butter. You could tell they are both very skilled and gifted. I left the session feeling as if I've been on a holiday, but even more relaxed than I regularly return from any holidays . I look forward to returning again .

I looked for help and was lucky to land on this counseling centre for growth and recovery. My counselor lead me through the process, helped me open up to him, and I did not even realize how far back this anxiety went until I spoke up... My childhood hadn't been so rough but only a single incident left a scar so deep that it took me 20 odd years to fill it back up, and that too with the help of this counseling centre so I am so much grateful. Thank yo soo much guys for helping me get a hold of my life, and live confidently and without the constant feeling of dread.
