Stay away from this company. They will fast talk you into paying for services offering "Mortgage…read moreRelief" that can often be obtained for free or low cost from your lender or HUD. They will then send you conflicting, confusing messages, tell you 'they are working hard' but I heard the following numerous and by turns ridiculous and hilarious excuses: My settlement offer with Wells Fargo was not moving along because 1. The mortgage officer assigned to my case was 'on maternity leave' (I later called her in person. She is childless). 2. They were short-handed because of the sequester and had to hire temps. I'm not sure what the sequester had to do with anything since they are not a federal agency. 3. When I learned my mortgage was not eligible for settlement under the Mortgage Relief act (Confirmed by both HUD and the mortgage officer at the lender) they insisted settlements were done on a "case by case" basis. There are two possible explanations for their conduct. They either did not know the law when they signed me as a client which make them incompetent. Or they did know I was not eligible from the get go and took my money anyway which makes them guilty of fraud, breach of ethics and malpractice. Do not use them.
