I had a few issues and at one point there was a transfer of care to an OB, but my midwife checked in on my constantly to make sure my husband and I were okay. When my baby was born, I had to be induced at CMH. The midwives were with me the entire time, and kept the entire experience as natural as possible. I can say that there is no one else I would trust to deliver my baby. From sharing my experience with others, the services and care Cambridge Midwives provide are far beyond any other midwifery clinic in the area.

I had Tahereh Barmi put on my midwife team when I was expecting my first child…read more As soon as I was in her office, I felt rushed, awkward, and uncomfortable. She took no time to get to know me, didn't look me in the eyes, and sped through the entire appointment. Her answers to my questions lacked detail and clarity. What really shocked me were the comments she made about my weight gain, saying I should "eat healthier, watch what I eat, and exercise more". Had she taken the time to read my chart, she might have realized that I exercise daily and an extremely healthy eater. Her comment was completely uncalled for, given I only gained 28 lbs throughout my entire pregnancy. I had tears in my eyes during the appointment, and at no time did she ask me if I was alright. Based on the way Tehereh treated me during my appointment with her, I decided I would rather be with an OB than have her at my delivery. Luckily, she was taken off of my team. I would not recco Tehereh or her new clinic based on her level of care.

During both pregnancies I have attempted to call the Cambridge location several, SEVERAL time and not once have I gotten a reply. In the past I've left messages, which took way to long to get a response to. With my previous pregnancy this literally caused me to use another UC baby location and totally inconvenience ourselves to try to Hamilton. Again, I've been calling every other day, multiple time's, for several days... with no response???? My advice is to please please spend the extra money and hire a receptionist! This is again going to resort to me using another location because it's impossible to get in contact with your location.
