There was definitely a large crowd and felt somewhat touristy with many people taking pictures and video of Elevation Worship. Yes they are amazing artists but the spoken word was amazing as well as the volunteer hosts. As a tourist and visiting guest, I appreciated the free t shirt, hospitality seating and parking since the church is located in a shopping center. I also appreciated that this campus had an actual pastor, live- in person and not a large screen of Steven Furtick preaching from Charlotte or pre recorded.

We went there to check out an exhibit set around the shroud of Turin and they also hada stand where the real shroud sat upon it. The grounds themselves were stunning and the garden with the Stations of the Cross displays were awe-inspiring. The people were friendly and it is a stunning place. I will say that I was not overly fond that they did a play on words and I think they called the restaurant Mary's Cafe, but I guess i understand. I felt comfortable immediately at Action with the people and the community and the messages were spot on to what I needed to hear and being invited and feeling the intense friendliness and warmth of those serving. The pastor is great but sometimes is arrogant and says things that I don't agree with. I don't feel 100% with his messages but overall they are just as great in how our modern lifestyles coincide with faith so he does draw a bridge between where people are and finding faith and I do love that he meets everyone where they are without pressure.

Issac (the pastor) is funny but convicting. There's no shouting or telling you what a horrible person you are...just how to change and make your life better. Another awesome thing about Summit is they really care about the community. Twice a year the church does a bunch of community service projects for non profits all around Orlando. They also give away their Christmas Eve offering and 20% of the money they take in. If you have kids their kids ministry is AWESOME :) The rooms are decorated by countries (for babies/preschool) and by themes for elementary. The kid's church is high energy and relevant. The people there really care about kids and know how to make things fun. If you're looking for a church you won't be disappointed with Summit.
