There are a huge number of dancers, and the fact they can coordinate all of the competitions, activities, shows, information, etc. just shows how important this all is to the studio. The teachers are professional and there are so many options for helping your child further their passion and development. The competition teams have bonding nights and activities throughout the season to build relationships and connection and it shows in how the dancers all treat each other. In the midst of a pandemic, I was really glad to see Zoom classes offered and signed up with low expectations; I was just hoping to find my daughter an outlet for her energy. Ms. Aria and Ms. Christine remembered us even though we were gone for a while and my daughter was quickly put into the right class level. 4 days later, we received the Zoom invitation for her first class. Ms. Aria offers the Pre-Ballet 1 & 2 class to on-site in an outdoors setting (plenty of water breaks) and Zoom students, and I am impressed at her effort and attention to both on-site and her Zoom students as they are, after all, young children. After the first class on a tablet, our family experimented with our zoom learning space and eventually settled on projecting to the wall-mounted TV with a blue tape on the carpet to keep our kid within camera view, so Ms. Aria can monitor my daughter's progress more easily. By the end of second class, my daughter has revisited the old ballet positions and learned new ones, all from the comfort of our living room (aka zoom learning space). I am really glad we signed up for Zoom ballet classes. My daughter was so excited for her second class this week she was all dressed and ready to go an hour before class.
