I don't know about Dr.Ye, but I know the nurse practitioner (Stacey) I go to for medicine management was very friendly and professional. She definitely cares about her patients needs and even opted for going for a medicine that wouldn't make me gain weight after voicing my concern about it. She's willing to listen to your concerns and makes sure you understand the medicine she is giving you. As for the office staff, I only met one woman but she was very professional and friendly as well. She was very helpful when I didn't understand the paperwork and made me feel comfortable there. I only gave 4 stars because of my little experience there and lack of knowledge in other programs as well as the "thrown together" feeling you get from the office space. Genpsych has a good program, but Dr. Ye should be stopped before she destroys another family. She completely ignored a diagnosis from the IOP program at her own facility and decided there was no emotional or mental health issue, and prescribed a medication for a completely unrelated issue. Her assistant is like Cerberus - no one gets to talk to or see her, or even leave a message for her, without going through Denise. When I called the switchboard specifically asking to leave Dr. Ye a message personally, I was put through to the assistant's line without another word from whomever answered the phone, only to leave my third message in two weeks. Prior to this, they made us wait three months for an appointment, saying that we "missed" an appointment that we had called to rescheduled without ever receiving a call back to reschedule. As someone who works in healthcare, I don't throw around words like "malpractice" and "incompetence" carelessly. But this is the worst experience I have ever had with a licensed physician in my life. read more

Gensych is definitely a high standard facility. The skills I learned in the various groups have helped me push forward in life. The group format has helped me learn from multiple sources and encouraged me to control my emotions in a better more rational way. The military perspective is great. My son has gone to gen psych for three years and it's been a roller coaster. Mostly bad . This was the last straw. My son went into there intensive outpatient program after being taken off of medication and had to be sent to crisis. After we got out of crisis i tried reaching out to the director who is responsible for his program and the psychiatrist who had taken him off his meds but no one has reached out or returned my calls basically abandoning my son. I gave called multiple times. How could a psychiatric facility just drop someone in need with out even a referral to another place if they felt they couldn't help him. Do not go here if your child could at all present a challenge to their uneducated staff. read more

My son needed urgent support and we were promised that our insurance would pay for services (it's covered) and my son would get the help he needed. It ended up being 3 hours of lecture after a full day at school, very little conversational/situational behavior/skill training and $3K out of pocket after the insurance for two months of services. I just received another bill more than a year after our last appointment. Billing would not answer the phone prior to the pandemic. They have no problem calling me now to get more money (No. They didn't ask how my son was doing). I wouldn't recommend. read more

I personally don't know how to heal from depression because we're in a world where depression is taboo and not taken seriously. Therefore I feel this terrible fear everytime I talk to ANYONE about anything related to the topic of sadness. I loved every happy moment and learning skills make me happy even though I don't know how to use it to the fullest, I still found it useful. I love all the people who work at genpsych because they made me feel wanted in this world and made a slight change to my battle. Everyobes so nice and hopefully they help you, even if its a small impact its still a big gap from where you started. read more

I have had Dr. Ye as a psychiatrist for a couple years because I had no other choice. and she was honestly the worst psychiatrist I have ever had. First of all, her bedside manner is horrendous. I am severely depressed and anxious and her assistant connected me to her when I felt horrible. She yelled at me for daring to call her and hung up on me. She later called after I complained about her to GenPsych, told me to take a medication I already took (with terrible side-effects, meaning she never even looked at my history), told me to research it myself and told me to call her back. I never because of how offended I was and she never called me back to ask. During her sessions, she is uncaring, callous, and throws pills in your mouth without caring about how you feel and their side effects. Not once did she look at my history or ask any questions. My sister also had the same psychiatrist and had the same and worse experiences as I did. In summary, Dr. Ye is a horrendous psychiatrist not only in her uncaring manner, professionalism, and her lack of knowledge. Find another psychiatrist if you care about your health. read more

I highly recommend GenPsych in Lawrenceville. It is a very supportive, healing environment where you can learn helpful life/coping skills in weekly DBT classes. The combo of learning about mindfulness in class and talking with others in group made things really click for me. My counselor Lina always happily went out of her way to share helpful resources with me. Dr. Ye listened to my needs and took great care of me as well. You can tell the staff (different counselors run different groups and classes so get to meet several) loves what they do, which is why I felt from my first week to my last day of treatment, I was in really good hands. read more

If I could give this facility a negative rating I would. I had been seeing a doctor at this facility for medication management but recently left due to the doctor leaving and the facility unable to provide a new doctor to manage my medication for another three months. They didn't even care that I was all out of my necessary medication. Their response was that I should find a new doctor. The staff was completely unprofessional and incompetent for the most part. It's a sad state of our mental health care system when we have facilities like this in charge of caring for our most vulnerable. read more

The staff at GenPsych is so caring and very educated and invested in the care of their clients. I received exceptional care and learned life skills that will last a lifetime in addition to meeting so many great people. They serve pretty good food for the all day program and they provided transportation for me every day at no extra cost which was absolutely amazing. Great place to go if you need any help. I am currently going through the adult psychiatric program to address recent bouts of depression. Admittedly, I lost my job a few months ago, and have been having a hard time putting my life back together. Prior to coming to Genpsych, I was just a miserable person to be around. I shut myself out from my friends and wasn't the best husband or father that I could be. I'm not proud of it. But I am getting help and I'm getting better. I've been taking medication, talking to therapists, and meeting other people who are going through the same thing. It's nice to know I'm not the only one. I was really hesitant to get help because of the financial burden that it might be on my family since my wife is the only one working now, but they accepted my insurance, so we've been doing well. read more

About 5 years ago I met Dr. Ye, and putting it mildly she literally saved my life in so many ways. I have read the reviews about Dr.Ye, and I can tell you for certain she is ABSOLUTELY the most caring human being you will ever meet. Do not mistake someones accent/difference in their native language for lack of, caring, or poor communication skills. I can assure you she listens very intently to everything you say, and she without a doubt understands what you are saying, and more importantly she genuinely cares about your mental health, and well being. I met with Dr.Ye about 5 years ago after my marriage fell apart, and I was very sad after losing my immediate family to various unforeseen illnesses, basically I was completely devastated, and never felt so low. This PERSON/HUMAN BEING/LOVING AND CARING INDIVIDUAL Dr. Ye helped me see that life goes on, I am deserving of happiness, and she helped me find that. Please do not let some of these cruel people influence you who have made these terribly untrue statements about Dr.Ye change your mind. I am now in a very happy, and loving relationship for over 4 years, and my life has done a complete 180 degree turn, and yours can too. Last but not least, please understand that while these sites are helpful for others that the people you are reviewing are people with feelings, so please be careful, and chose your words carefully because you never know just how hurtful they can be.
