Our service model is individualized and allows the senior adult the highest level of independence and autonomy while maintaining safety and dignity. Our patients usually have one or more chronic conditions which often include dementia. Our care coordination services allow seniors to remain independent for as long as possible in their own homes and if desired in independent or assisted living. We work closely with adult children and help them to have less stress in caring for their parents/family members. Our advocacy services foster coordination of care with caregivers, primary care and specialty physicians, home care services, rehabilitation center therapists, and social workers. We also provide guidance related to end-of-life care decisions including hospice care. Our old girl hated going to the Vet's Office, despite the amazing care she received there. It was…read morereally important to us that Pepper take her final breath at our home, peacefully. Dr Kamrae Elliott made that happen for us. I completed the form on the website when we were ready to say our goodbyes as Pepper had lung and bladder cancer. I had a phone in less than an hour, at night, from a very compassionate lady that asked me all the necessary questions and schedule Dr Elliott for the next day. Dr Elliott called us the next day to let us know she was on schedule and would be at our home soon. She took time to let Pepper get comfortable with her and she gave her a sedating shot while we loved on our girl. Pepper relaxed and eventually with a bit more sedative, she went to sleep. The IV was administered after she was resting. Dr Elliott gave us all the time we needed between each step. Pepper passed peacefully on her favorite part of the couch, surrounded by her family. It was so peaceful even when Dr Elliott took Pepper with her. I pictured a very clinical setting at the end, but it was so thoughtful and peaceful. She was treated like our baby to the end. We chose private creamation and Faithful Companion is the crematory she went to. They were also incredible and kind. Pepper passed on a Wednesday afternoon and was back home with us by Friday night, I highly recommend this service to anyone that needs it. And thank you, Lap of Love for offering your services.

Friday evening at 7PM isn't a great time to go looking for help, but Stacey jumped in and by 9PM we had the support we needed to get us to the next morning's flight back home. Our nurse Eunice was friendly, communicative, anticipated our needs and made us immediately at ease. Ours wasn't the typical case, but I'm sure the urgency and care Stacey and Eunice showed us IS typical for them!

After getting in touch with your Care Coordinator, she was immediately impressed with his demeanor, professionalism, and empathy. In the days since, your team has arranged for a nightly sitter who has exceeded all expectations. My mother asked me to convey her appreciation and overwhelming impression of the range of services, the quality of care, and the overall positive experience, thus far. When her father was on the decline a few years ago, she had some experiences with other "caregivers" that were less than impressive -- some were down right pathetic.
