He told me what I wanted would look stupid and he wouldn't let me make the appointment. I have dozens of tattoos that I plan on getting in the near future but I wont go back to Stay True Tattoo.

The day of she was not in the headspace to be tattooing but continued with my appointment. She gave me a hand full of finger tattoos that were so blown out, to this day they cause me excruciating pain. They are all scars beyond blown out. I also had a piece done on my bicep which was pretty simple and it also is scarred and is raised in some spots. I do not recommend this shop and because of their mistakes I now live with pain in my fingers and a tattoo that is not flesh with my skin.

Before we went in, I figured his portrait would be close, but the actual tattoo blew me away. It was like we were looking at our actual dog. Granted, tattoos hurt, there's no way around that, but the way he applied it was one of the least painful tattoos I've ever had (and it was on my side)! I was recently in Missouri visiting the fams and mentioned to a friend that I wanted to get the…read morebottom of my naval pierced before my flight back. He drove me to Hollywood Rebels. I do live in Boston and had been told by someone here and they wouldn't do the piercing because due to the structure of the naval, it would be more of a surface piercing than the regular naval piercing and thereby would not heal correctly, like ever. The girl I spoke to at Hollywood Rebels .. nope. She was mad eager, told me to sign the form, shoot her an ID, and we were off. Piercer looked young but found out she had been doing this for over a decade. She was super friendly, very thorough and informative, and totally vibed with the fact that despite my eclectic piercings and tat, I get nervous about ten seconds before the needle thing happens. Great piercer, gentle as hell, and the place was extremely hygienic, all things super important for those seeking body modification. The girl told me to come back sometime because she likes seeing picture of her final products and I definitely will the next time I'm in the area. Final cost: $50. Super impressed. Edit: Come to think of it, I'm having a huge deja-vu moment and think I might have been at this joint a few years back to fix a piercing that had partially closed. All positive from that experience, too.
