I'm a licensed cosmetologist as well as a licensed cos. educator and I must say that I appreciate the sanitation GBS seems to uphold. I've never felt that I've had any unsanitary tools be used on me and I've watched my barber clean his tools before using them. I've been going to Barber Nate for a few months now and I've always been satisfied with the results and appreciates that he takes time to make sure the quality of his work is good. I always schedule my appointments ahead of time online and I've never really had to wait, and if I do it's no more than 5-10 minutes. The prices are also extremely fair with the results that you can expect. Overall, I can highly recommend Nate to anyone wanting a cut, and I would feel comfortable recommending the other barbers at GBS as well just from watching them do haircuts during my appointment. read more

I have been going to this barbershop since the very beginning. I always gave $60 or more for a haircut and recently was treated like garbage. I would go every two weeks for a shapeup and tipped nice and even more at the holidays. Never again will I ever go there again. also depending on the barber the price of the haircut changes drastically because I think they pocket the money and not hand it to the owner. read more

You can't get classy, crisp haircuts and beard shaping like this anywhere else in our region. And the atmosphere is open, clean, fun, with great music and conversation to listen to. The barbers are all professional but really cool. And they have taken control of the sign-in list issue, so no worries there. It used to be really casual, and it still is relaxed, but they have better monitoring of the list, so you will get called in order. A+ definitely recommend ! read more

Great babrber style cuts, cheap prices, but long waits for walk ins with a sign in paper list that is deceiving and no one to greet you or keep track of it at the counter. My first time there I got a great cut by Edwin. It was super busy and I ended up waiting 1 hr and 20 minutes as a walk in guest. I figured no problem because it was a holiday weekend before school started and my cut was so good it was well worth the wait. I was back in the area 3 weeks later and figured I would drop in again for a quick cut since hardly no one was there and still 4 barbers at the chairs. After an hour wait I ended up leaving. Why? I was skipped as a walk in on the list, then had to wait for a barber to finish a cut at his chair to evaluate the list and take the next person, explained to him my situation of being skipped then was told I would be in the next chair only to be skipped again by 2 young kids of a guy getting a cut who appeared to be buddies with the one barber. The kids names werent on the list. This time it was a hour of time wasted with no cut. I would recommend a better sign in process or keeping the people informed about there status in line, it seems like people just walk in and out of there and receive cuts, while other wait hours. read more

I was sitting there with my son watching people coming in after me signing in the book an getting cuts before me an my son. Then they send me to a barber who can't barely cut he was about to cut my son hair that's when PAPIRICCOO the MASTER BARBER step in an got my son out the chair of the other barber chair because PAPIRICCOO knew that the other barber Didn't know how to cut my son hair. I been there in the past an the shop manager KNOWS I'm picky when come to here cuts for me an my boys. But for the 3 unprofessional barber they walked around an ignore me an my son until we got into PAPIRICCOO barber chair then that's when they started cutting people hair who came in after me WHO HAD NO APPT.
