He let our offer expire, but had a call with our agent that night stating the landlord wanted to rent to us and made a verbal agreement. There were text messages as well stating the tenants (us) look good and the landlord wants to move forward. However, he dragged his feet with the paperwork for the offer, despite our agent following up with him multiple times. He said he was sick or didn't have cell device or just completely ignored our agent. He finally passed on his work to his colleague to complete the paperwork because he was still too sick. A week later, we received the news that George accepted another offer and told our agent that we "need to find another home." When our agent reminded him of their verbal agreement, he hung up on him. He has been reported to RECO and their brokerage knows about the situation but nothing has been done. Extremely unprofessional and left my partner and I in a difficult position.

They rejected to repair many defects where some of them were on the PDI. Their employees (management and customer service staffs) will try to convince you that this is normal to accept the defects where sometimes wrong information could be given to you. And when a cash settlement was offered by the management, they offered peanuts which was less than one quotation of one item. I ended up resolving all my issues with Tarion after my house privacy and security were intimidated. In addition to taking advantage of my situation during the sales process because of which I lost lot of money. I wish to share the full story but it would need pages and I believe that what I wrote above is highlighting the majors!
