So, I'm updating my review. A Customer Service person called me today and he was concerned about the review I left on 05/02/2020 and I have told him since a few days after, we have decided to go with another Pest Control service, but, I did appreciate him calling me and he was wanting to send another technician to re-install or re-cover my yard with the solution. I wish I was able to get into contract with Genuine Pest Control when I called on 05/02/2020, then we would have stayed with their service. They are good but, with not having their phone's working when someone needs help with their pests (spiders, ants, roaches, etc...), it kinda concerned me and my husband. So, I just wanted to clarify, they are a good company to get the pests controlled but, they need to improve on their phone service for consistency and customers leaving a bad review. read more

I stopped in at their storefront and told the lady about my minor rodent problem. After explaining exactly what I wanted done, etc. she said they'd send out a person for an inspection and estimate. I asked he twice about the cost and she said she couldn't tell me without the inspection. So the man came out today and I told him what I wanted. He said they don't do that and they would deal with the rodents inside and out. How much would that cost? Starts a $1,000. !!!! Good grief! If the lady had only told me that in the first place it would've saved us all a lot of time. So I'll never know if their service is good. Cost should always be brought up early on. read more

I don't know what all these good reviews are about, but this is my experience. We contacted Genuine Pest Control because we had a rat problem in our garage and attic. It had just started. Julie, one of their sales persons, came over to give us an estimate to eradicate the problem. There was a lot of puffery, exaggeration, lies, and scare tactics. When she was all done, we had a $1,600.00 bill. We weren't stupid, but because rats are dirty, and we were afraid of diseases, we gave them an $800.00 deposit per their request. When we requested a breakdown of the charges, they refused to provide it, so we cancelled the service. The owner, Casey was just as difficult and backed his sales person. After we threatened to sue Genuine Pest Control he agreed to give us $400.00 in refund as they did do some of the work (sprayed the attic and set 2 traps). We contacted other exterminators out of Las Vegas and for the exact same work it cost us only $250.00, instead of $1,600.00 A WORD TO THE WISE - Get other estimates! read more

I've had them out once to spray for spiders and once to spray the weeds. The several times we had called with questions they were always polite and professional. If we happened to get their voicemail when we called they always immediately called back and were on time for both the service calls. They quickly fit us in when we first moved here and had a spider issue around the house. Within a week the spiders were no longer an issue. I can't say how good these guys are. My family and I moved here just over a month ago and had a serious issue with bugs in the house, and outside. We called this company and they came out started us up with the service and came back when the first treatment didn't work. Not their fault there were just that many. Then we had the funny noises in the air vents. Turns out the bugs made room for the mice and other critters. Casey and his crew came out got us fixed up and put out the traps and then came to find the trap that got away when the critter passed on. They are wonderful. We will continue to use them.
